Its far from dead. Getting a major content update soon and armor overhaul. It only seems "dead" because when people play it they actually PLAY it. Instead of just trolling games or playing a arcade playstyle all game like in HLL.
PS has more realism and quality than this game will EVER have. I have never raged so hard trying to shoot a guy running at me with a kar98k in my life, doing it in PS however its clean and smooth. You dont have to shoot at janky moving character animations in there unlike HLL.
HLL is very arcade, there is no lives, no tickets, no fear of death, unlimited respawns.
The sounds are really bad.
it's not hard to spot ennemies in either game, you just have to look. Most people run more than they scan/scout
aye thanks man.
think i stick to squad. <3
No. This is closer to Battlefield. If you want Squad WW2 go for Post Scriptum, since that has the closest gameplay to Squad.
Its not really the same, i mean yes you have squads you have to join but there are no real complex mechanics involved when it comes to HLL. You have some crude weapons that are only shadows of their originals, no stamina mechanics, object penetration doesnt work properly and the suppression fire mechanic is weird. And so on and so on...
To you maybe. Squad is definitely a lot more 'realistic' than HLL, that's plainly obvious to anyone that's played it. It also has MUCH better effects and sounds than HLL. Sound is a BIG deal in these type of games. It's honestly the only redeeming quality of Battlefield. You need to devote a lot more time to Squad/PS however, and that is why the player counts in PS are so much lower.
