"Too close to similar structure [200m]"
I keep getting this error every time I try to place down a garrison, even with no other garrisons nearby. Is this a bug or something?

I think I've run into this as well. I didn't ping the other garrisons to ensure they are 200+ meters away but I'm fairly certain they were. I haven't run into this in at least a month.

pretty sure it works correctly, map can look deceiving at times so just put an observe mark (ping can distract squad) on the nearest garry to be sure.

No, I assure you, there were no garrisons ANYWHERE near me (well over 2 grid cells away)

i only just got into building stuff to help the team out and it's so janky it's hilarious. i love when i need to prone on a specific pixel for it to turn green. thrilling.

I hate having to find the micron on the map that allows you to build a garrison. I set my mouse way down to 600 DPI (out of 9000) playing this game and even with a slow mouse it's a PITA.

seriously, as someone new to the mechanic i had to ask people what the hell was going on.

there doesn't really seem to be any logic to it unless i'm still missing something? if i'm an officer, i have to prone to build an outpost. it's like that for everyone?

200m is actually a lot.

when you look at your map, zoom out as much as it let you, these big squares on the map are 200m x 200m each, it's the easiest way to know where you can place a garry.

Everytime this seemlingly happened to me, it always was me simply not noticing the other garry and I'm happy to admit that.

Also keep in mind that you can't build further than 2 red sectors deep.

Anyways, the next it happens just record it and sent a bug report.

I wasn't further than 2 red sectors in, and I promise you, there were no other garrisons nearby. I had command chat yelling at me to place down the garrison because of this but the game wouldn't let me

learn to measure and read a map.

learn to be a more likable person and, ideally, how to read.

I honestly doubt the 200m garrison lock is bugged, ping exactly on the location while zoomed in for an accurate distance marker. Never had issues with it ever
