Bad Nade! Bad Nade!
This achievement is not suppose to be in the game.

The reason it exists in first place is because developers did not think that the enemy shooting a guy with grenade primed should be the one gaining the kill.

You see, RS2 developers realised this and was implemented, it feels impactful and gives you a morale boost as well as an index of your effectiveness.
What does HLL do? Gives you a teamkill if you got shot while priming it.
Please fix it guys.

I agree.

killing a GI who was about to throw a willy pete always got an evil laugh from me so +1.
Can't see it happening though, maybe tweaks to the meta but the core game is set in stone.

I mean - i share you POV - but what is the problem here? You getting a TK or the "Only have 'Y' on my screen"-mindset in HLL? People just punish everything if they get TKd ... i only press Y once or twice a week ... and thats because its been a really dumb one (e.g. arty shooting into our whole team pushing the objective ... and shooting at the part where we are pushing in first ...)
Because - lets be honest - its difficult to identify whether the nade just been "dropped" or thrown at a wall or the thrower has been killed - so it is for sure a TK since this weapon is coming from you ... but it doesnt mean that everyone should be spamming Y the moment theyre killed ...

pressing yes on "punish player for teamkill" actually does nothing in the game
so theres that
its just a cosmetic option to make players feel like they have control over a decision if the player teamkilling them gets punished or not

as for the topic of the thread ... since KDA doesnt mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this game anyways i dont see your problem here ... you know what you did and you can proudly tell your squad members what you did ... thats the whole extent of whatever gratification you should need

Is this game better than RS2? Been contemplating buying it.

Depends on what you are looking for

I totally agree.
Also, all maps should have a "safe space" designated which is full of puppies, kittens and rainbows. AND every match should end with everyone getting a participation trophy worth 100 levels of whatever class you played.
Because you earned it.

Your hyperbolic examples have little to nothing to do with my suggestion frankly

If you enjoyed RS2 then this might not be for you, very very slow compared to RS2. I recommend you try it for yourself over a free weekend though.

So i hope you will never have to place a satchel to clear a building filled with enemies and 4-5 allies running to it - even after calling it to them ...
and THEN you have to switch into defense / airhead. If you get punished you get +10 seconds on your next death - not much but if you get multiple TKs because someone else ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up (given scenario above) ... well ...

Why you would be using satchel with that many allies around? If you're carrying that big a blast radius it should be used with more care and you should be punished when you ♥♥♥♥ up.

that is not what i was talking about ....
what i said was that if we take your example and you place such a satchel charge you gonna get the +10 seconds punish per players killed regardless of if those players decide to press yes on punish or not ... you are always gonna get the same amount of punish time no matter what ... thus meaning the "punish someone for teamkilling you" option is solely cosmetic and has no impact on the game whatsoever

some people need to learn reading comprehension

I did understand what youve written - i had in mind that punishment results in increased spawn timers and from that POV ive understood your message as false information. Thats my logical conclusion because a cosmetic function would be completely useless from a logical POV. Therefore from my knowledge about the feature, this satchel scenario would have an impact - contrary to what youve said. So thats that

Maybe before you assume someone lacking reading comprehension skills, you should increase your logical skills :steamhappy:

People that punish others for accidental TKs are just hurting their own team. It's one thing to blatantly TK, it's entirely different to assume someone should be looking into a crystal ball and can foresee dumbass Pvt. Pyle running into a building that you just threw a grenade or a satchel into. Get real.
