Game wont stop crashing

I have over 800 hours in this game, all of a sudden, I cant play anymore, it just keeps saying UE4 has crashed, pak error or something. Ive reinstalled, verified files, nothing seems to work

try properties verify integrity of game files - last update for me crashes all the time this worked.

same verified files found 98 unable to be verified d/load files and crashes again after 5 mins

This has become so tiresome. It's not just the crashing anymore. With each verification of game files and false flag anti-cheat violation, all my game settings and loadouts get reset. That never happened under the old devs. I only reinstalled this game to play with friends who wanted to get back into it, but it's just intolerable at this point. I also have 100s of hours game time - many of which were enjoyable - but it's been more than a year since I've had that good feeling.

i have a feeling it might be the anti cheat. now the game stops and there is like a hidden window. as soon as i click the screen the game starts again.

Are you over clocking your GPU at all? HLL is the only game that is not stable when I am using Afterburner to create a custom voltage curve and overclock my memory. I was getting constant crashes until I reverted to stock settings.

as posted above, over clocking is the number one game related crash..check your temps, force your fans to kick in 100% at 50c , stopped my crashes.

nope fans all good temp all good. no error messages. GPU is a RTX4070ti. no other games have this issue. family member plays Fortnite on this pc. sometimes has the same issue. it also runs the same anti-cheat software

sorry but it doesn't actually crash. it just kicks me back to the steam home page. just like when you leave a game

ok now im pissed. re-install the game verified files and 98 files failed again. how can so many ppl be having issues

nope, no over clocking, as stated in my OP, verified files multiple times, game just decided after 800 hours I was done playing I guess. I even clean installed 2 times to no avail.

This game has gone to crap played for months without issue. Now I get 10 minutes of game play at most and crashes every damn time with " connection to Host lost" Fix the damn game! every other game I play I can play for hours on end no problem.

the only difference i can see is when i start HLL it asks me do i want the the steam client app to change my settings

Also having this issue - tried a full reinstall of both steam and hell let loose, nothing works. Verifying the integrity of the games files doesn't come up with anything.
Fatal error, sometimes before joining a game and sometimes when playing for 5 mins. Please get this fixed!

uninstall all my games and steam. reinstall steam and HLL. now fixed. but sometimes it freezes and the cursor appears((like a window opening behind the game. click and the game continues
