Please stick with your squad leaders (officers) and listen to what they say.
You will perform much better and win more.

That can be quite dull if you get shafted with defence.

Always plenty of action on defense.

Honestly, if you're playing SL, curate your squad. Do a mic check when they join and boot people who are not listening.

You have to be dead to kick and they just rejoin unless you lock the squad which leaves you shorthanded because few ask to join a locked squad.

If your team is organised enough to have a defence it's more than likely it's gonna be a steamroll in your favour, very little to do in defence in that situation.

Minor inconveniences if you really want a solid squad to work with, though they *really* should allow you to kick players while alive and give those kicked users a cooldown before joining again.

How often are teams organized enough for defense though? I can't tell you how many games I've lost because every squad wants to attack. One squad hanging back makes all the difference and many times, you end up with more than enough action.

Somewhat related, I wish you could block join requests when you have a locked squad. Its annoying to refuse to let a player in, only for them to sit there and spam your screen with the request popup.
The system could use a bit of an update.

I usually say something in chat, and then if it continues, I ping admins.
sometimes they are worth following. Oftentimes they're off doing some long flank while the front is collapsing and you're of much more use to the team actually defending the objective.
I highly recommend this concept.
To all the people who feel compelled to die like lemmings remember; you bought the game with your own money. You make the decision to play how you want to play. This game doesn't have to be a automaton simulator. Play the war, not the game and you might just have fun too. One day you might feel like sticking with your squad and talking fast and loose, other days, not so much; and that's okay too.
