They do free to play to bring in more player numbers so the game doesn't eventually de-pop. Also the more players there are the more they can potentially justify further updates and more content.
Asia servers are dead af when it's not on free weekend, and we feel bad for our friend who wanted the game nobody to play with.
One game I had 16 players below level 20 on my team and the other team had 5.
I wish they had something to balance things for example:
- better tutorials
- max number of new players per server
- lock roles for new players f.ex: recon or squad leader
Also the devs poor updates made me uninstall
Teach them! Make them propper soldiers.
I think the issue is this is never ending. I'm fine helping others but I don't want to play a FPS teaching simulator.
Your 2 options are either take a break from the game during free weekends, because you're clearly not enjoying yourself during them or take the time to help the newbies who do want to be better, learn the game.
Good point
These devs are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke
It's also one of the most pointless achievements in the game.
For example playing the tank crewman in the "Tutorial" teaches you nothing that you couldn't already learn from playing the Tank commander and checking the role load-outs in the menu's.
