Mortain - bad fps?

I am not even getting 60fps steady on medium (3440x1440) with a 11600K+32GB+4070 super

Anyone else experiencing worse fps on this map?

i have this in launch options. ( right click game in steam list then properties )

-dx12 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -refresh 165 -malloc=system

get between 140-200+fps depending on where i am in the map

If you have win 10 or win 11 do this:
go to settings/system/display/graphics/
Browse desktop apps.
Go to the steamappsfolder/common/Hell Let Loose/
HLL .exe. Highlight and add this file.

Once on the list, highlight it and set it
for high performance. (never realtime)

Restart your computer.

Set your in game resolution to whatever
you monitor can handle.

Run the game with an FPS counter and
observe the performance.

Too much GPU for that CPU.
No way a 11600 can carry a 4700S...
And dont go for the DX12 option, have researched about that before, and AFAIK it ♥♥♥♥♥ up some security stuff on the PC when you force it to run in DX12, not a good option.

I use similar flags as Dan above but I also pass in -high to make sure the game executes at a higher priority than most of the other background tasks. I haven't compared with and without it so your mileage may vary.

My framerate is half of what it is on all the other maps.

3090 driving 144Hz@3840x1600 and my usual 144Hz hovers around 85fps.

Dx12 is nothing more than direct x instruction set to be run for this game, thousands of PC games run this instruction set by default bud. You are more than wrong................................

Yep same experience, getting around 40-60 fps in most areas, really choppy. While other maps are usually 80-120.

Besides the terrible performance, I do like the maps aesthetics and layout thusfar though.

Btw, you can walk straight through many of the trees and hide inside them lol.

Very harsh and choppy experience on this map, i bet this is about amount of bushes
