I will never understand why people cheat in this game. Cheaters will always know that they are fake trash compared to real skillful players, and they will never experience that authentic sense of achievement and "YES!" moment of finally getting kills. What makes this game fun to play is only because it is just so so difficult and hard to kill other players and get something done sometimes; but when you do get something done, the gratification can be immensely overwhelming. More like football/soccer than basketball, so to speak.
Now, if a cheater is someone who has trashy life living in China or some 3rd world countries and wants his life to feel validated and derive some meanings in cheating, because, let's face it, his life is probably not that great and he feels disrespected all the time, then sure, I guess I can understand. Cheating is just one type of overcompensating. I will just switch servers if I see more than two cheaters during certain "regional" hours. The outcome is the same, win or lose.
then proving they are misusing it by investing all your free time and watching a map and their discussions and activity on the map. FYI most the major clans who lock all the private channels and sit in them could be doing something dodgy but proving it is impossible.
the server admins tend to side with the clans as its their server. 2 people could be playing right next to each on either team its the same issue and close to impossible to resolve and prevent.
go put a OP in the middle of know where away from a active objective and watch it get take down from multiple angles and see.
I ended up spying on someone's discord stream after their suspicious activity and they were blatantly communicating information they could not have available unless they were watching the stream. Got even recorded evidence but like you said, hard to convince even with evidence and especially with a language barrier. And I saw many times how nodes, garries and outpost are cleared with ease. Streaming on twitch, it's fine but streaming on private discord with your mates... Hard to explain the intent if not to abuse sharing information that shouldn't be made available.
these games are often like this not all the time but you do get it.
its called community run servers they tend to have their own agendas, some allow friendlys and clan members to main camp bottom and top bases while rules on those servers dictate its middle main base only thats open for camping.
so you get them farming kills and breaking rules only if you went to go do it to them its bannable.
Building garrisons and within minutes the enemy recon is on them.
No matter if it is a logical or illogical garrison.
This is happening a lot more since gamepass.
If even one of them is on the other team, then it's cheating.
That's the distinction.
Uh huh. But what does AI have to do with streaming a game on discord??
Cheating has been a thing in games since their very inception, including board games. Stream sharing has been happening for at least a decade or more, there's nothing acceptable about it.
In the case of sharing screens via discord, it's understood that it's virtually impossible to detect because its all happening through a legitimate 3rd party system
Objectively speaking, cheating is actually a sign of intelligence because it requires a person or an animal to think outside the box and find an alternative solution to a problem that would otherwise be a difficult, hard, and laborious grind in life. The "farmers" in this game come to mind, for example, to a lesser extent, not as bad as cheating for sure.
I've always come to believe that men inherit the ability to deceive and lie from their mothers because sometimes their mothers have to lie to and cheat their "fathers" that "their" children are not the product of infidelity, in order to secure vital resources such as food and clothing and shelters. Yes, I believe from an evolutionary standpoint that women, being physically and biologically weaker when compared to the male counterparts, will always resort to alternative means to survive. In that regard, women give men the ability to cheat, but also intelligence, as in thinking outside the box, being thoughtful, creative, and "complicated".
Anyway, it is as nature's intended. Players cheat because some of the people are programmed that way. According to some studies, cheating actually gives some people the same kind of high as one would get from smoking or in rare occasion, taking hard drugs. It is just nature, or human nature, should I say?!
IRREGARDLESS! It lacks honor and should be punished for it.
