Here we go again.

There is no crossplay with consoles if that's what you're worried about. Only with PC Game Pass. The controller icon you see ingame just indicates they're on that platform.

It would help if they changed the logo so that it's not a controller. That's going to make many players who don't know, assume it's players on console.

Idk being Microsoft they'd probably want them to use the X Box symbol if they were going to use something else and that would just be even more confusing. I also assume they'd have to pay to use the trademarked logo in game, as opposed to a generic controller.

I'm not even sure why they need a different logo. Is it that important? If it is, they could just make their own logo that simply says Game Pass, in small letter, with Game on top of Pass.

the devs really need to reword the crossplay option in the setting to enable XGP and change the xbox symbol on the leaderboard in game to a logo with XGP on

Honestly no, I can't imagine it really serves much purpose beyond enraging random players because they believe they're playing with consoles.

They already believe they are playing with console players cause of "enable crossplay"
