impossible to play sniper

they need to fix the whole sniper role its impossible to play, Soon as someone joins as recon I join them than instantly get kicked. I've never played a full game as sniper before cuz everyone wants to play it so they join as officer kick you than leave and wait for a recon to become open and the cycle repeats its self.

you just have to have a friend who can join as recon, click on create recon squad faster than the other 50 ppl clicking on it and you have to play an entire game until it finishes because recon is always full and all these stars have to align at the same time.

Get an SSD, bring a friend. If you just want to snipe by yourself all game you may find people who let you in may kick you. Plus there are games far better suited to that style of play.

You don't need a spotter at all.

If anything the spotter needs to be doing the busy work.

I usually tell my sniper to do whatever unless I ask for help.

It's logical that due to the limited sniper squads (and its good they have a limit) that the first one to join is spotter. Only new eager players won't know that.

I've only been kicked out of a sniper squad twice. Once was a dude who asked to be spotter and tricked me then created a locked squad, never fallen for that one again, the other was when my spotter left and the new spotter came in, kicked me and got his friend to join. I've never seen anyone kick the sniper to create an available sniper squad. I've seen spotters leave, leaving the sniper to fend on their own and then you get messages in chat saying will someone be my spotter.

But of course, until you leave the sniper role, its not available to that sniper squad, so you can be a solo sniper (not part of any squad) until you die and the sniper squad is stuck with a spotter and rifleman, as there can only be two snipers on a team. So don't die and stick it to them. Oh was that vindictive... (unless they've fixed that)

All I can say is keep trying, when I'm not with my friend I play spotter (level 10) and let anyone in, because I know it's a hard role to get. 99% of the time when I grab sniper I just follow the spotter and everything is fine, least thats my experience and I have quiet a few hours under my belt.

Maybe it's the servers you're playing on. Each server seems to have a different sort of crowd.

Just play spotter? It's much more effective at most recon roles regardless. Unless of course you're just trying to frontline snipe in which case you're useless and a detriment to your team and should be kicked.

I duo with a buddy and we swap spotter/sniper every game. One of the issues is lots of people do this because we dont trust random people to play the role correctly. Most people who get in it just want to be sniper elite without doing any of the actual recon role.

Hell nah I get like 80 kills the first 10mins of the game on omaha beach

Took me 4 years to get sniper x. And that was the last role I had not max out.
I usually prefere to recon squad leader.

Level up first, I never accept snipers in my squad lower than 50. You gotta prove yourself first.

Too many whiny kids at level 5 or 10 wanting to play sniper and then screwing it up giving away positions and not covering at all.
