Unreal Engine Injector (UEVR) mod for Meta Quest 3
What do you think about allowing or maybe even supporting the new
Unreal Engine Injector (UEVR) mod for Meta Quest 3?

That might even be a good advertisement for Hell Let Loose😉
I am in contact with a well-known German YouTuber
who could advertise it immediately😊👍

I did some research on UEVR. IF the possibilities are not overstated, then you've got my undivided attention. BUT... until photos or better, videos are produced showing in game results, folks might not be ready to shell out the cost of VR equipment. Can you direct us toward anything useful?

No. Go play Pavlov or Contractors, UEVR will only open the way to cheating by abusing the ability to move the player's camera.

Well... uh... before we get into all that, let me point out that, if what I'm reading so far is accurate, this thing can probably be used on just about any UE game currently in existence. How WELL is what is left to explore. I'm still going over youtube information.

It relies on detaching the camera from the player body it will effectively green light cheating, also you wouldn't be able to compete with mouse and keyboard.

Big uevr advocate, but it has its place and will not work here.

Detaching the camera from the body?! how far can it go? Can it elevate? That would be bad.

Here's what I know so far...
The list of games tested with it is staggering... and not yet complete. In the thousands.
HLL has not been tested yet. One stated problem is that it may not work if you are running anti-cheat software. But here is a shocker: It is listed as working perfectly with Squad. What anti-cheat does that use? I can't remember.

Yes, complete freedom to reposition in any direction,

Squad allows for servers to run without anticheat. Is same, easy anti cheat.

Yikes! I can't imagine how this is going to shake out in the long run.

People get a VR headset not because of Hell Let Loose but
because of the many “real” VR games.
UEVR is more of a 3D modification than “real” VR

OK? You mean because you can stand up even while "lying down", right?
I don't know, but if you program the "physical lying down" and
lock the button, than the problem would be solved.
My suggestion is aimed at the game's programmers.
Maybe there is a simple solution.
VR is the future.

Yes, there is a lot of informations on YouTube🙂
Basically, with UEVR, it's a 3D game.
VR is something different.

You're right😄 ( i understand you but the Google-Translation is wrong😉)
In fact, the disadvantages even outweigh the advantages.
If the programmers don't want UEVR,
there is no reason to worry about fraud.
“But” if they want UEVR, they could customize it so that there is “also” no cheating.
The “real” implementation for VR would be even better than UEVR but...
probably UEVR would be cheaper. I think.

Again: VR is the futur.🙂

I think this is a wrong translation by Google Translator.😄
Of course, the camera is permanently installed in a VR headset.😉

This is not a cheat.
Simply put:
UEVR is a “motion translator”
