New Player Driving a Tank/Recon Vehicle

I have total of 16 hours and driving a tank or a recon vehicle is my favorite part of this game. I'm Tank Commander Level III.

When I'm alone, I usually take my time and don't rush to hot zones. I do reconnaissance from as far as I can, hit the enemy, then slowly crawl, hit and repeat.

What I hate about driving a tank/recon vehicle is how easy they get stuck in trenches and between rocks, and it's impossible to get them unstuck. Last night, my recon vehicle got stuck in a friendly trench, an enemy infantry flanked and approached me trying to blow up my recon vehicle but I prevailed.

On few occasions my tank got blown up but I could not tell what hit me and how!! I was stationary and all of a sudden I see the timer for the redeployment!!

Any other tips is appreciated.

Recon vehicles have very thin armour making it vulnerable to AT gunners. Wrong place at wrong time.

you got to realize there's 3 classes with satchels so staying stationary will inevitably end with you being satcheled.

If your US than don't use the recon vehicle. Use the Stewart. Has the speed of the recon but much better armour and much better gun. Also if your driving around in the red zone never stop for anything.
