Still no DLSS?
Why? I dont get it... games performance was never that good and i think DLSS would really help..

Devs cannot solve smaller problems in any way and add minor changes to the game that should be by default, for example the same shaking of the camera while running etc.
In the meantime, you can "enjoy" the new DLC with a new helmet and uniform instead of DLSS
Game was never GPU heavy, always CPU heavy like all Unreal Engine games. Thats why DLSS would not provide any benefits, only if you really use a real low end GPU. DLSS puts morew workload on the CPU.

Which part?

Game works perfectly fine for me. I have a 5800x 64GB DDR4 3600mhz, using a SSD and 3070ti. by no means a tyrant of a PC, but not a slouch either. but get really good performance on ultra. I'd have to look again on what fps i get but I rememebr getting easily 90 fps easy with occasioinal dips depending on what happens.

And yeah its true....

The regrettable aspect of DLSS is that the game code has to accommodate it. But if you want better video and your GPU has a little overhead, you can still use DSR or DLDSR. These can be used with most anything. Yes they will require a little extra horsepower, but the results are impressive.

cynic answer would be DLSS doesn't generate revenue

Yeah, that's the reason the devs have no incentive to add it now.

Does the Unreal engine they are using even support DLSS? It's fairly old so I think it out dates the hardware support for the feature.

The current UE used will never support DLSS. Old video cards run just about better than new video cards due to the engine being from 2018. Any optimisation for new cards are missing. A 3 year old PC with a 6800XT will easily outperform a newer machine due to this. 2018 folks and BM told us in EA that they failed upgrading the engine and will look at it post release. This never happened.

Rather the opposite. Fact.

I don't know if the statement above is true for this game but I could see that. For example, if the old game relies on feature of DirectX that is no longer in heavy use in modern GPUs (obsolete, replaced with better functions, etc...) then Nvidia/AMD might not dedicate as many hardware resources to the feature on newer hardware. This isn't applicable to just GPUs, this happens with CPUs and other hardware out there.
