It's been the same criticism as long as multiplayer PVP games have existed. The constant criticising of "noobs", despite the fact every player was, at one point, new to the game and had no idea what they were doing.

This is how these things work. Huge influx of new players. Idiot to serious player ratio goes up for a bit. Idiots get bored. Big chunk of players can't get on with the steep learning curve and quit soon after playing. Smaller percentage love it and persevere. Overall total serious players increases.

Rinse and repeat.

If you don't accept new players and all that comes with it, the player base will steadily shrink until it's no longer financially viable for the firm to support the game and the game dies.

I was pissed when I found out about gamepass - as if the average braindead steam players hadn't been enough. Yeah, some servers are completely flooded with lowlevels now, as high levels leave (guilty!) when they see what they didn't sign up for. But - I also had a good bunch of nice gamepass people since it got released there. They had a mic, were eager to learn and will be good teammates in no time. Quite a few of them liked the game so much that they were at level 50+ already. So, let's just hope the idiots will leave in a timely manner.

Anyways: My squad will always be open for people that talk. :)

It's so salty in here; it's unreal. Let people play the game, that they paid for (whether that be directly or through a gamepass subscription), the way they want to play it.

Sometimes, its nice to just find a cozy spot in the map and just snipe people out. Or camp out a garry and shoot everyone who spawns. Who cares about the obj. It's literally just a game. If you're that dedicated, go join a a milsim clan and practice marching around.
