Total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
How boring can a game be. You spawn and run for minutes. Then you die from SOMETHING and then you can run all the way again ? This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I rather buy battlefield than this boring BS. This is a running simulation and not a War Game

  • went to the tutorial and practice range, seemed adequate
  • the only game lobbies available were high ping and foreign
  • loaded into a lobby with about 10 other players
  • got in a vehicle and drove across the map forever
  • approached a control point was shot immediately from somewhere
  • respawned at a closer location was shot at immediately, from somewhere
  • we lost the match before my third respawn
  • loaded into a full lobby after a short wait
  • joined a squad where some Spanish guy was screaming
  • figured out how to mute
  • followed a squad member
  • watched squad member tea-bag a corpse
  • got shot from down an alley
  • watched my squad member tea-bag my corpse
  • uninstalled
  • lot's of running intermixed, played another match in there somewhere, where I started my own squad and tried to cap points solo.

It felt like a running simulator with short bursts of instant death at the end of the sprint. All with some foreign guy screeching in my ear and teammates performing necrophiliac acts on whatever was laying around.

no bueno.

its just a totally different game compared to call of duty/battlefield, just like world of warcraft is different to a racing game, u cant compare them, this is alot more slow phased/tactical combat

Suggest you go back to COD buddy.

people just don't like to be polite in their anon online accounts and go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on stuff....
well its their choice but dont expect to be taken seriously :)
Can't take you seriously with that pfp

My mindset doesn't like cheaters, campers, and boring, unathletic gameplay - "for obvious reasons"

The game is objectively bad. (Thanks for the award dumbsh!t)

Most games have the following:
>killcam
>killfeed
>spectate
>reliable votekick some servers even disable it
This doesn't.
Any other game, where a Rank 2 with the username of
冰淇淋享受者 who's flooding the killfeed would've been spotted immediately, and kicked.

Add to that:
>inconsistent bullet damage
>no fire-select for weapons: FG-42 and StG-44 require this
>bipod still doesn't reliably work
>AT rockets despawn on tank-hits (you get no audio queue)
>clunky movement (you can't jump over a knee-high fence)

https://youtu.be/YAqZs8tQq8U
tl:dr
these three don't want features to catch cheaters, like any other game, or fixes to the game

What on earth is unathletic gameplay.. i'm always shocked when someone says it's boring having to apply some thought to the game they're playing and not just run around aimlessly seeing who has quicker reflexes

You should invest in Arma 3 instead. Way better war simulator than any of the other titles. Also has some WW2 DLCs and mods.

Git guud? It boggles my mind how players complain over the most basic ♥♥♥♥. It feels good to get good in-game. Progress, learning curves, frustration and satisfaction. Go watch TikTok if you want easy enjoyment for stupid folks. You want a shield generator on your uniform? You want health recovery? You want it to take a full mag to kill you? Perhaps CoD or BF would be a better fit. Perhaps it's not the game, perhaps it's you?

I am not sure if anyone has told you, but in war you run alot, it's why most if not all branches of the military require you to run a distance in under some time, or do so in full gear. So I would say it simulates that pretty well.

Probably not the only one saying this but going through your bullet list, here are my thoughts

Starting with your header, I would say that the game takes a bit of time to learn to play, I didn't really start getting the hand of stuff till about 40 hours in, so yes it has a learning curve

1. Yes, I agree the you should be able to skip the splash screens
2. It was only added recently, hopefully it can improve.
3. Assuming you are in the US, I find plenty of servers from the US, if they are high ping, better to play in those so you can communicate with your teammates properly and there is no language barrier.
4. sometimes it might help to wait in a queue for a full server, I know it sucks but you might get some really good games if you do.
5. Indeed, maps are big, at least you were able to find a vehicle, instead of having to run as much as the OP
6. Always be alert, you could get shot from anywhere in this game, and likely never know where from, Objectives, both friendly and enemy, or neutral are bound to have enemies around them, always best to hug cover as much as possible, if not, conceal yourself to make yourself harder to spot, try not to stand and run around enemies unless you have to, try not to run as much unless you have to because movement makes you more visible, don't cross open areas unless you have to, if so, smoke grenades are very handy.
7. I will admit, spawning and dying immediately is annoying, but always try to be aware of where enemies are, if you know enemies are watching a garrison or outpost, don't spawn there, you will die immediately.
8. Happens, can't win em all
9. Better, more teamates
10. Also happens unfortunately, there is a mute button
11. Good job!
12. Already on good track, sticking as a team might will help you survive better.
13. Odd Thousand Yard Stare[/]
14. Don't stand in the middle of the alley, find cover if possible, always try to find cover, watch the end of the alley.
15. Unfortunate
16. Yep, lots of running in war. Don't lock squads unless you have a valid reason to, I.E "waiting for a friend, saving spots for people last game." You need teammates in this game, this game is a team game, if you are there in the circle by yourself, you are going to lose every time.

This game has quite the learning curve, it takes time to get the hang of it, even after hundreds or thousands of hours, you will still die a lot (there is a reason WW2 has the death toll it has and this game represents the destruction of that war well)

Taking point, only to get shot by some guy sitting in a bush. That's what Offensive mode is.

I was an infantryman and fought in a war, there isnt as much running around as youd think, there was alot of walking around with a ♥♥♥♥ ton of waight on your back though. I miss my m249 but not the 800 round combat loadout lol.

Plenty of boring moments

On the plus side, you're exactly the type of player we can do without. A real win win situation.
This game has gone seriously down hill. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics, the god scopes on iron sights and god sights are just horrendous.

True, no doubt mobilization makes it easier, and between that and combat, running around is only a fraction of that. Not that you run too much in this game either, saying you have SLs who know how to place garries and OPs

I'm pretty sure the only thing keeping this thread alive is "essence of Gelfling."
