What is Skirmish ?

I am looking to get back into this game but i am not really cut out for large gamemodes HLL offers but then there is this ? what exactly is skirmish is it like a TDM ?

i have a problem understanding how you can play a game like this, or any other, and cant do your own research to answer that question
(hint, the devs have a huge banner in your library, announcing that mode. also in the according section of this forum [news & announcements] - just not in general discussions)

thats also a point in the countless "performance bad" threads and many other senseless posts (cheeetaaahs everywhere!!! no one talks!! ...).
the same posts again and again and again.... as if everyone belives he is the first to notice and needs to start a discussion

no wonder that so many rounds end in steamroling and barly hit the 90min mark in warfare.
the players themself are still the greatest flaw in this game

I don't think anything has been said about a certain player amount for Skirmishes. What has been said is smaller maps, e.g. the Polish postal office map, meaning less time running around and more time capping points. The factions might also begin with less manpower, depleting the spawns much faster and thus the game being over much faster.

They have said quite a number of times it's 50v50

must be realy difficult to read a simple announcement or 2 now, since it has already been twice on the pts.

again i ask my self why a game forum is basicaly the "i ask befor i research" dump of that game ^^ ?
how do you people tie your shoes in the morning? does that brain even support life functions or do you all have an APP for that?

my oh my ^^ have to quote myself, its just to obvious...

it will only be more and more of such questions. You can find answer to your question by just looking at.. idk, last announcement? maybe one before?

idk, again - look at last announcement? learn to read? lmao. I guess these are all those ppl who do 1-5 kills and die 30-50+ times, but have the most to say about how commander or squad leader didnt do his job.

It's something that kills lobbies when it comes up in the map rotation just like the british maps did on their release.
