I just run around like an idiot around the battlefield and keep getting shot by enemies that I can't see, also the FPS is ♥♥♥♥

I started playing last night and watch afew videos to get familiar with the game. I suggest you do the same I did die a fair amount but also contributed to the team a good amount with the fact I knew roughly what was expected.

hope this will help, some of the better beginner guides on video, just take a can of coffee and enjoy.

but be aware, the greatest problem of this game are the players ^^ not all research about the game mechanics and many just want to shoot things :/

finding the time and place (servers) to finaly see how 2 equal teams fight 90 minutes over the middle point, and then one looses 5 seconds to the end... lets say, its getting harder latly, but im confident that we get more of those rounds again.

It's a death simulator when not played properly.. and now with the increased speed it's even worse and communication with your squad is rare.. i prefer PS now as at least everyone talk's

ive gotten used to the game after like 10-15hrs. its fun when you learn the flow of the match and where the enemies are coming from.

ill have some good and some bad games where i keep dying. so ill just leave and fine a new server with a different map.

if you run around like an idiot on the battlefield like you said, then yes you will die. just like in real life lol

Communication is key in this game if no one is talking and calling out enemy locations you will normally run into bulllets

For new players my advice is to play the war.. Not the game.. You're first couple of weeks will not be so aggravating. Allow yourself some time for the immersion of the experience. Look at the map often so you understand where you are in relation to both the defensive and offensive objectives. Hang back a little farther, don't run so much but walk and stay in cover and look into the distance down your sights often to see if you can see any enemies running through fields or peeking, after all the enemy most likely is all around you as they might be trying to flank from any direction. Think twice about spawning on an OP or garrison that is red or has an exclamation point on it and spawn to the next closest one if it's reasonable to do so.

This isn't COD. stick with the team or your squad. You'll die a lot less. Also, stop running across open fields. Stop running in the middle of roads, don't run into areas where arty has been hitting or where a machine gunner has been for a while.

Get in a habit of using your map and get a feel for it. Its not meant to be a camp fest, but more like wave distribution, with using everything you got. If you hear bullet go by and No gunshot, its a sniper, just Rain of mg fire but No sound of an actual gun... probably some clan members having fun shooting at 300 meters, ask for a smoke barrage or something..
