So many hackers on servers now - Evidence of videos on Youtube showing these hacks
Start messaging the Developers get new anti-cheat for the game and focus on preventing this, do not spam this post with trolling garbage like 'get gud', the hackers are real, there are far too many on servers and they are ruining this game:

- complete aimbot tracking, showing all enemy players across map with number positions on units icons (100m - 84m - 234m etc.) and under the map terrain

- firing shots through the map so they can hit players inside buildings or under map slopes

- recoil control where the weapon only fires inside a tiny circle so they can hold MG standing in open and just clip entire team in seconds across 5 map grid tiles, no setup needed just spray fire and get automatic kills

- tracking all deployable items / garrisons / nodes / land mines so they know where everything is placed around map so your team spawns are exposed always.

Start raising awareness and tell the game developers they need to pick up a new anti-cheat program since the games current state makes cheating far too easy and unless you are playing inside private password locked servers where all players are on the level the odds of running into hackers on every map and every server is extremely high now.

Yeah, I noticed yesterday there low ranked players was getting sick scores, was wondering if the cheat-sellers gotten some new hacks the developers are unaware of.
Silly there is no way to report hackers, and the only way to see who shot you is a hassle so you most likely miss when the same guy killed you suspisiously mad many times.

I think the problem is generally overstated, so many good players get lumped in just because they know where to find garrisons, but I do think it is insanely rampant because just a few hackers online bouncing around servers makes life difficult, much less the dozens that do it. The issue facing admins now is that a lot of these dudes are paying subscriptions for these and try not to get busted. When the issue first arose it was so blatantly obvious who was hacking, now so many try to blend in and play cat and mouse games with admins. They have admin camera view detection like a radar detector for pete's sake. It's insane how unprotected HLL is.

To not have figured out a way to patch over the loopholes or upgrade cheat detection is seriously an issue. Right now the whole ordeal is laid at server owner's feet, people that pay to host the game for others and volunteer their time to detect and ban hackers on their own dime and time. It's a ridiculous model, this has to be headed off at the head, somehow.

Virtually every server has a way to "ping" an admin. Often "!admin" and put a quick message and admins can track down who's racking up. But like i said, this is a less than ideal way to approach the problem since it is a case by case system that requires an admin dedicating their time to investigate and ban players. It's like opening the prison gates and expecting some volunteer neighborhood watch to find the thieves. It's ridiculous.

If the hackers can always see player map positions and fire way beyond line of sight at invisible targets outside the map draw distance then there is just no longer a reason to play the game, the hackers have free reign on servers and legit players can do nothing at all.

I was playing on Broken Arrow-Central timezone server about 5 days ago and shot a guy about one hundred times with a Recon tank machine gun and about 4 HE rounds and he just kept going. He ran left to right across the front of our vehicle at about 150 meters, pure open-field running. My driver watched the last main gun round pass right through his little German radio back pack, before he was out of view. First time I had a confirmed instance of hacks.
which anti cheat should they switch to?

Isnt this the problem of the unreal engine? The hacks have been around on the engine way longer than HLL and were easily integrated in to HLL because it uses the same engine. I dont think it can be stopped tbh or it woulld have been done already, just what I heard
After three of four years, I can only tell you that I have yet to clearly distinguish between the hackers and the experienced players. I haven't time to focus on it.

I recognise that there is probably hackers in the game, I just havnt really meet any
FlamingDeath seems to have PTSD from hackers hehe, I remember playing the classic version of Counterstrike and this was my 1st encounter with FPS hackers that would just 1 shot entire team in couple seconds GAME OVER but there were atleast admins around who would catch them quick and ban them off servers

I don't think morons can cause PTSD, or can they?

Your war and peace forum post caused mine so, yes they can
Admins used to be able to go into spectator mode. I don´t know if that is still the case. Besides that, as Flaming mentioned, demo recording is the right tool to expose hackers. These two methods needs active admins though. Kill feed is imo ok in game like this but Kill cam is a no go.

As someone who has wasted too much time in online PC gaming, coming up to what has to be close to 3 decades, and probably 100,000+ hours (sad I know), let me tell you what I know.

Aim-bots and wall-hacks have been a thing pretty much from the word go. My first taste of WAN multiplayer gaming was Quake 2, aim-bot and wall-hack existed then, and other assorted unfair advantages, speed-hack, god-mode (no dmg), etc
Some game companies have tried to combat this in various ways. (mini map was probably the first example of them trying to level the playing field)

Anti-cheat came along at some point.
When a game company wrongly bans their customers, they get sued, so they stopped doing that. Now they only ban when they "KNOW" a cheat is being used, this is signature matching. If the cheat isn't in the public domain, no detection happens because the anti-cheat does not have the signature to match.

A cheat-seller which doesn't exist anymore (MSX Security) made a claim before mysteriously disappearing (I believe they re-branded to "Private *****"), where they said each of their customers will receive a unique cheat binary to them that will not be in the puiblic domain unless they share it out themselves

This was a pivotal moment IMO, this was when the cat and mouse game was over and the mouse won.

Some game companies tried to appease and embrace their cheater demographic (YES they are customers, like you and me, don't forget that !), do you think 3D spotting came about organically in the battlefields series? it's essentially a sanctioned in-game wall-hack.

Now, onto the subject of HLL, what tools are the developers providing for their customers to root out cheaters, because clearly, we cannot rely on "anti (sic) cheat", cheating still happens, it's not anti anything, at least antifreeze actually melts stuff, at least that does what its supposed to.

There is no kill-cam
There is no kill-feed
There is no demo record
There is no publishing of statistics
There are no ban-waves (not that I've heard of)

Let's just put it this way, there are a lot of coy software houses out there, who's main objective is to a) make money, and b) keep shareholders happy.

They couldn't give a flying ♥♥♥♥ about their paying cheating customers.
Try committing financial fraud against said game companies and watch them REALLY act

But when their cheating customers are defrauding legitimate players, they don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ care

Cheaters, spending money with game companies, oh the poor souls, the game companies must be so distraught /S
What, if anything useful, have we come away with in the wake of this diatribe?

ya'll ever heard "less q.q more pewpew"

I would love to hear your suggestion for what AC they should switch to because unless you're willing to give AC developers full unrestricted access to your PC, not a single one is capable of perfect accuracy.

No one ever seems to suggest one when I ask them this though because they tend to not understand what something as barebones as EAC is even doing.
