this is the thing i really love about HLL to see how these battles might have looked like thats why i dont think i have ever criticize the maps in HLL
there is of course some designer freedom, has to be to make it playable, but the new maps arent that close to the nearly precise normandie maps anymore.
i checked out Driel and there are some things that dont realy fit to the maps you can find on the net. it is close to but not as acurate as befor.
as for egypt... well it was expected that it would look like this, open dessert, some rocks to hide and actualy a map for tanks, like kursk.
but i thought they would make a map of el alamain ^^ that was a train station close to the coast in the north - there is no train station or even tracks on this map - looks like pure fiction.
while Driel is as playable as the older maps where, that dessert is quite dissapointing - the should have started with other locations like tobruk or so.
