The new main menu/barracks leave something to be desired.

I can appreciate the intent behind the new main menu and barracks design, but I feel they don't entirely work for several reasons, primarily in the barracks tab.

1. It's set during night-time. And while that looks very atmospheric and cool, the lighting of the game is quite realistic so that also means it's really dark and for a character creator,that's not all that optimal. Before, you could appreciate some of the detail on the different outfits, now they are just harder to spot.

2. The camera has been zoomed out, adding to the fact that the character in the character creator is now harder to spot. I'm sure this was done to allow for the entire scene that was created for the main menu background to stand out, but it does hamper the functionality of CC.

3. (minor flaw) The background scene chosen is clearly a French village road. Mind, it's a very nice French village road, but now the Soviet faction looks really out of place. Before, it was such a vague background where every faction appeared to fit.

I doubt this background will remain like this for the remainder of the game's lifespan, it has, after all, changed plenty of times throughout development already. But I do hope that with the next one they keep in mind some of these things, because right now the previous menu was objectively better suited for loadout and appearance changes.

Doesn't it just zoom in on their face though? I meant that now the default distance is more zoomed out.

Probably first game which had multiple problems with such basic feature as main menu scene.

this entire game has been one big unnecessary change nobody asked for since like, update 5 or 6 in the beta build. the hits just keep on coming, too. can't wait for the physical merchandise store while still being unable to throw a grenade with routine certainty.

esta actualización tiene problemas de performance, no puedo jugar! tengo tanto lag que siento que tengo 500 de ping! no se si es la actualizacion! pro antes jugaba perfecto con 200 ping o un poco mas, pero ahora es imposible, las animaciones estan trabadas, no se si es cosa de los servers o que, pero espero que lo solucionen
