and expected since they have bought the title and have to get that back in ;)
Every studio does it. Full priced games released finished are a thing of the past.
But to be quite honest, I don't mind that a game I buy can be updated for years to come at the cost of them selling cosmetics, as long as it doesn't become pay to win. You don't have to buy anything and it allows them to finance continued updates.
Will I buy something from EA or Bethesda from an in game store? NO
BUT, HLL is a great game and I don't mind supporting the devs and future updates so I may buy something here.
This game takes the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ parts of Battlefield 5 and adds them to what would probably be a good milsim. 12k people a day disagree with me so it's whatever.
It looks and sounds great but that's about it. Maybe when I'm 70 and retired I'll get into it.
I agree. Considering how amibitious and rich the upcoming updates are (that roadmap is exciting), they deserve more money, the workload is huge on their side. And let's keep in mind that this game costs less than boring broken AAA titles...
