Don't move and look 360 degrees

Human beings have evolved to be able to spot movement before we can recognize what it is. By that I mean when in danger we stop and asses our situation and use the outside stimuli to then make our next move (fight or flight). Example, The bushes about 10 feet away move strangely or something dashes from one to another.

What i'm getting at is use your biological built in survival tools. Stop! Just stop moving! Wait and stop darting around the screen like a damn spaz. Chances are the other guy is moving too. Slow down and wait for your prey. Short peek outs and move positions after engaging for a bit of time. Survive! Don't be a victim.
You will start to notice that by hiding in wait for a few seconds, and setting you aim at one point, your peripheral vision will allow you to spot movement. Spot them? Yes! HAHA! Now YOU are the hunter. Use your next survival tools (eyes) to decide whether the stimuli is friend or foe. Eventually as you start to understand how the game works you can start predicting where squads and teams start coming from on the map.

Games like COD works on twitch mechanics due to the shorter ranges. Hell let loose works with your fellow member exchanging info. You may not see him but your brother next to you might. Much like life the more reliable info you have the better educated decision you can make.

learning to read the flow of the map is half of it. easier to spot folks when you're facing the right way.

Really? Ive been more tactical than what youve written but 80-90% of my game even on prone, you die with a single shot by god knows where. Even nvdia filters wont help you, or any graphics twitch

Gitgud? Skill issue? No. This game is full of ESP wall hacks. Thats how they see you. And it wont get fixed and will continue to be unnoticed until the game dies give it max 1 yr and all players are wallhacking.

If someone is hidden look for pixels to change color or muzzle flash. Once you see it you'll see it all the time.

If you are on Hurtgen or Hill 400, walk don't run.

Stay with your squad, and keep your gun centered.

You'll get the hang of it.

The cheaters are easily dealt with if your squad is competent.

Great addition TwinCityShredder I forgot to mention the pixel shuffle.

i never really assumed there were cheaters. its just rough sometimes, cause i hardly ever spot people, I dont know if im suppose to play the game at a slower pace, ive always kept eyes out for muzzle flashes and stuff it just feels most times i get absurdly blind sided even when trying to use smokes for cover and keeping my eyes out.

Anyway not asking for a kill cam but there should be 100% a match replay feature to save your latest game for analysis, EAC as an anti-cheat only stops basic cheating, its can be easy bypassed so a way to actually catch and ban cheaters would be nice.

There is cheating but not to the extent of other triple A titles. Most servers see between 4-8 cheaters per month (give or take) and are quickly dealt with.

You can change your graphics settings to help but generally the best way to learn is with sticking with your squad, working together to find Outposts, Garrisons, ect ect and taking your time in your 1st 100 hours and learn the game and what to look for. (Supply drops, airheads, supply trucks moving behind your lines.)

Number one! Stop sprinting everywhere and look around every once and a while, just play a little slower if you're having trouble spotting people. Also with some game sense you can guess where people will be but muzzle flashes will help too if they arent moving. Some graphics settings can help too

Those that see players are not moving or even upright. They are lying in ambush in cover on a logical approach route waiting for the next lone goof to approach.

turning up brightness or using nvidia filters because the game is dark and has a grey hue by default. scanning your surroundings and not constantly moving around all the time helps.

I just upgraded from a 75hz 22inch 1080p monitor to a 144hz 34inch 3440-1440 ultra wide and can see people much more clearly and easily now. Just about your rig and monitor I suppose.

you stop a bit in cover, you aim down sight and press shift and you wait 5 seconds, if you see nothing you move again
