Community is killing the game.
The way a lot of the player base is handling this right now is pretty embarrassing. They want the game they like and love to play to be fixed but yet are constantly dragging it at any giving moment. Yes the game has issues that need addressing but the way the majority of the community are now handling it now is only going to divide and push people away from playing or purchasing. Yes Team17 have not got a good track record, but. We need to at least give them sometime to fix what they have messed up. Yes the review bombs etc. has got their attention, almost as bad as the "peaceful" protests we get nowadays.
Call me shill or what ever I don't care. But what I don't want, is another game to be killed by the community because they didn't get what they wanted instantly.

Oh god forbid I only have 67 hour... Again another one that need's to grow up and stop acting like a child because can't get what you want.
Team17 have other things the the previous devs messed up on as well, they're not just sorting out what they caused but what they left them as well.

Lol no review bombing? Have you seen the recent comments?

Don't like what I have to say don't read it and respond next time.

Please do elaborate on how I'm tolling?
I'm just fed up with the game being dragged for basically nothing. Yes the game has flaws and issues I'm not denying that. But you can still play the game yes? You can still join serves and enjoy the game? But name me a single game that is perfect in every way that doesn't have a single bug, just name one for me, I'll wait.

Team 17 hurt the game by making changes no one wanted and releasing broken/buggy updates. I think it is done mostly due to incompetence or some higher up wanted the game to appeal to a wider audience? Again, this is just my theory - take it with a grain of salt.

Team 17 only just announced a new development company taking over the game when in reality it should of been done last year when they were still working with Black Matter. They could of learned the code and could of been transitioned much easier working hand in hand with them. Too little too late.

I know, but what I'm trying to get at. Is the player base isn't not helping it one bit. This is my issue.
We need to stop dividing each other with all the sh tposts and people like this other lovely chap that has responded to me.
We are the only ones that can keep the game alive while they attempt to fix their mistakes and black matters. Why help kill a game for the gratification of the trolls.
If and when they put this update out and it breaks even more than, yeah fair enough. But we at least need to try and give them a chance with this next update.

If you look through your post history, it is obvious you are trolling, you flip between slagging off the game, telling people not to waste their money, then this.

I disagree. The pc gaming landscape is littered with games that have been gradually destroyed by game companies that are completely out of touch with their core game community. I think its refreshing to see a game community stand up to what is, in effect, corporate greed and arrogance. Team 17 aim is to change the entire play dynamic of HLL and make it more casual so that the game can appeal to a younger audience. They wish to monetise the game via their game store and in effect ignore the wishes of the core game community, the very community that has grown the game into what it is today. An example of this is Team 17's attempt at appeasing the community's plea to roll back the speed change. So what do they do ...they essentially do nothing. Its a PR exercise . They slow the rate of acceleration.... The game will die a slow death I am afraid. The devs have no clue how to handle the project and their corporate bosses are hell set on changing the core game dynamics.

Again where have I said that there isn't any issues with the game?
I still stand by my other statements that yes, the game vault system needs work because it's buggy and that there still isn't select fire. But I don't just sh t on the game for the sake of shtting on the game like most of the people and posts I see.

All I'm saying is the more divided the community get's the more the devs will care less and want to fix the game if they see people shtting on it constantly for that sake of it.

If they continue making changes to a game people love and don't listen then that's not on the community. That's on Team 17 for not listening. They had the tools to test all of their updates before they released them (PTE) they choose not to use that tool. Adding their in-game analytics on patch 13.5 made server issues much -MUCH worse. HLL's net code was already bad but adding this screwed it.

All of the hate is warranted. The fact they had to apologize twice confirms this. They haven't shown anything to be trusted yet. There is another dev brief next week. Hopefully, some good changes are coming otherwise this will hurt the game even more.

There is legitimate cause for concern with the recent releases from T17. They haven't fixed anything that they have broken and have only released more bugs and issues. The most recent hotfix has caused massive issues with rubberbanding on multiple servers leaving the game almost unplayable on those servers. We're watching them kill the game. As players (consumers) we have every right to be pissed and voice it to the dev team. We are under no obligation to appeal to their feelings or yours nor to help keep spirits high while they remain silent and unmoving with any kind of fix. T17 has given us no reason to have any faith in them what so ever. It's on them to earn our trust as consumers and we do not have any responsibility to "be nice" or "help them out" in any way shape or form. They have earned every single negative review.

All I see is consumers voicing their anger. Nothing wrong with that. Yes its passionate but I don't see how the community's passionate response to ill conceived game changes would impact Team 17's desire to fix the game. That is just ridiculous. The community is actually making Team 17's job easier and not more difficult. T17 have a blue print of what the broader community want in the game. Implement it . People are not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on it just for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles. The fact that the community are angry is a good sign as it shows they are still interested in the game...although that interest is wearing thin me thinks at present. The game has been in limbo for close on 2 years already . It needed to crack on after the hype of their full release but it did not....It's still a great game but I do think the creative bubble that HLL was in in the first 2 years of its life has burst.

This is wrong. They will not let HLL fail. They spent what like 42 million to buy it from Black Matter.

But there are people just doing it for that sake of it. You get that with anything and everything people will never be happy with what you try, do or attempt. There are plenty on constructive criticism out there but equally to that, people hate on it just because other people are hating on it.
But this discussion wasn't made to talk about the devs it was about the community.
