Second: an Actual Report function
Third (not a fan): Kill cam
Fourth: Can actually look at player states with K/D ratios and accuracy
I can keep going
lol kill cam? so you want something that shows you where the bad guy is so you can make sure the bad guy doesn't already know where you are?
brb the dude who died to arty 50 times checks on arty for 50 deaths lulz
I like that idea (minus arty kills, because, arty)
I also like the idea of K/D ratios and accuracy stats.
I think most admins review logs and video evidence when presented. Not sure if the game saves a log that the admin can then pull up and run through the game, that would be kinda cool. I'd imagine when someone is alerted for cheating if an admin is around they go in spectator mode and follow the individual, saving the video evidence and banning them then passing that information on to other server admins. Least here in the US.
Honestly I don't think cheating is as big as people think it is, here in the US at least, I mean. As recon we get some shots on people from a distance and we joke to ourselves, they probably think we were someone nearby cheating, though we hit them from over a hundred meters across a field from a bush.
I've only seen one person utilize a glitch which is probably a cheat. It was in a fence, which the player was using as a shield, because with their gun muzzle out from it they could shoot you, but your bullets were magically protected from the fence graphics, even though it looked like it should have been a head shot. That was annoying.
Surely people aren't still using basic google searches as a source?
An old game called Day of Defeat had a mechanism where an admin could spectate a player and see exactly what they were seeing and doing. Made it very difficult for cheaters.
Now that was an old game, why isn't it the same in this modern game?
It's just common sense.
Random people can google cheats, download, and use them, so why is it hard to believe that AC developers can google, download, and flag the same cheats?
This is before considering if any of the cheats/hacks or the websites they come from are actually just viruses.
just alert admin and it'll get sorted.
that being said. u know there are so many ways to find someone even if u think your not findable. (recon, fly over, flare, op radars etc. )
why the ♥♥♥♥ is there no region lock from ASIA?!
