*Insert response saying that I'm wrong and every game has a cheater and I'm an idiot for even trying to imply otherwise*
Do this 10 times and we have the entire comment section.
Tbf there have been individuals banned for cheating but these are pretty high profile cases and *incredibly* stupid like Forsaken in CSGO.
As a console main player, but playing this on PC, how would i know if there was a cheater? From what i've seen and heard, you shoot them and they don't die, or they're otherwise invincible killing everyone. Haven't seen anything like that yet. On Arma neither. Just team killing and booted for that.
Same as COD, wall hacking, auto aiming, fast running, teleportation, shooting while jumping, etc.
All of these are very commonly dealt with by admins if you take the time to alert them or get a recording if it's any of the obvious ones.
As I told someone else here on the forum, while I agree that map sharing goes on, it's so hard to prove that it's better to try and keep any thoughts of it happening out of your mind when you're playing.
Don't ignore that it exists as a problem of course, but letting something you can't see or prove bother you, only causes issues with your own gameplay where you start pointing at it as a reason you're not doing well and increases any frustration you get while playing.
1) Cheats for HLL cost money and most people simply won't spend the dough.
2) The people selling cheats are often after more than your one-time purchase of a hack.
(Purchase a hack for any game, and your bank account is likely to go bye-bye.)
Instead, consider the following the next time you're getting your a$$ handed to you in HLL:
1) Even a modestly-better graphics card provides an advantage to players in HLL.
2) Even a modestly-better CPU and motherboard provides an advantage...
3) Headphones provide an "extraordinary" advantage over speakers.
4) A "very" large TV, as a monitor, provides an advantage over almost any PC monitor.
I'm nearly blind (legally blind as of Oct. 18, 2022), so I have all four of these "advantages" on my side. Without them, I can't even play Hell Let Loose. But any of these advantages in the hands of most any other player will help one perform much "better" at the game.
Bottom line: if you're playing on a potato, consider an upgrade in this order:
1) Increase the size of your playing screen. I use a 55-inch, 120hz Samsung.
2) Get headphones and learn to hear before you see in close-range engagements.
3) Get a better GPU (RTX 3000 series or better - AMD equivalent)
(You need at least one PCI-E 4.0 slot for item "3". You'll bottleneck otherwise.)
(Also, ensure you properly power these cards. Most people do not.)
4) Lastly, upgrade your CPU and motherboard (if you don't already have PCI-E 4.0).
Any chips in or better than the i9 series or their AMD equivalent will help you climb on top of the meaty curve of mediocre. Upgrade all four, and people may soon call hacks on you.
See you on the battlefield.
