What do the Squadsymbols mean?

When selecting a squad sometimes they have a symbol next to the Squadname. What do they mean?

The only thing I can think of is the differentiation of infanty, armor and recon/sniper squads.

Assualt, Defense, Supply and logistics, artillery. The SL can designate the squad one of these roles.

hes talking about the Squad "type" indicator aka Offensive / Defensive / Supply / Artillery and the microphone symbol the SL can set in the deploy screen

Okay. So i guess the Lighting symbol is assault? How do the other ones look like?

Assault is lighting, the defense is like a shield, the arty one is like little bomb amd logistic tool set. Place what u want so the comander knows what u wanna play :D

Yeah I just recently got the game myself and Instantly google stuff because the in-game info is useless lol I also kinda hate the kits XD Medic feels so garbage to play I love it on Squad which is a similar game just not WW2 Era
