Panzerschreck/bazooka
Can you please remove the stupid high explosive effect for them? They were never intended to be used against infantry. It's a HEAT (shaped charge) warhead. User manual for Panzerschreck even forbade using it on infantry because it was a waste of ammunition.

Maybe not the Panzerschreck, but the Bazooka was given HE rounds.
The explosion radius should be realistic. But it doesn't matter whether the bazooka should not be used against infantry. Even if I get the order to only use them against tanks, I also shoot against infantry.

It would be more realistic if when I stormed a trench I didn't get 4 bazookas into me (seperate, not single AT gunner reloading), it's too much, just too much man. infantry should be terrified if they see a tank, not "oh well lol take him out in 2 seconds"
I understand staying away from AT gunners and what not, but sometimes you really do need a tank to assault a position guns blazing.

that's literally why armor was invented... to hammer a position and allow a force to make it to enemy positions... AT is supposed to take out tanks, but tanks have a VASTLY further range, just most commanders are dumb AF and think they need to be within grenade range to see anything... If a position proves to be very difficult, armor should sit back and HE it, coupled with artillery and the commander saturating the area with a bombing run.

Not it wasn't. It used M6 HEAT, M6A1 HEAT, M6A3 HEAT and M10 Bursting Smoke (depending on the version of the launcher). All except for the M10 are shape charges, they don't create much shrapnel. They were used as bunker busters but that's about that when it comes to infantry.

In the game you have everyone firing at infantry and getting kills with the splash damage that shouldn't even be there since it's a shape charge. It should only kill people that are either hit directly with it or are hiding behind a wall because that's how the shape charge works.

Maybe the bazooka round hits an infantry mans grenade as it kills hims, thereby setting off a devastating chain reaction.

Problem solved.

the problem is Americans have too much AT, shot once or twice sure, but 4-6 times while assaulting a trench by different guys? Nah that's not realistic.
Kojax May 15, 2020 @ 12:39pm
Also on last points, you do need to assault the position with your tank, you are forced to help your team, you can't just sit back and launch HE 400 meters for the whole game bro

that is a fault of the SLs, not the game
i never saw 6 AT guys shooting a trench, maybe i saw 1 guy kinda try to shoot into a window
so enough with the BS, never ever in my 100+ hours did i saw AT guys spamming rockets

This +1.

Infantry squad should only be terrified of tank when caught in the open or the tank has dedicated troop support.

If not the then the inverse is true. Tank should be terrified of a squad (with AT obvs)

^ this
Tanks cant see SH*, their visability if that of a 90 y/o horse with catarakt

Tank wors enemy is a squad with advanced AT equipment
during ww2, ALL soviet squads had motolotvs, most had AT rifles, and about 1/3 had AT granades and magnetic mines, and later RPGs.
All US\UK\France squads had bazookas

before posting BS, try to read some about how tanks operate and what they are used for
