Lucky Strike Battleground server ban
I spoke out against the server in another post of another user and their friends who got banned and seemingly that warrants a ban myself on their server even though I hardly ever play there xD

Shouldn't this be against server licensing rules? They are out of control.

Stop with this server licensing rules nonsense, this is Hell Let Loose, not Squad.

Short answer is if they're doing right by the public they will continue to bring players that are active. If they're doing wrong against players as you claim it will empty. Either way you're free to make a server or find one that is like minded.

That's what I'm working on.. just a suggestion

Most servers use community ban lists. If you are banned off 1 you are banned off many due to stupid reasons.. They banned me for speaking out against them on a forum post. I did nothing to break a rule within their server or game itself.

We need rules for server owners to follow otherwise you'd be stuck applying to clans to even play the game.

Lucky Strike server/clan founder here.

Look dude, you can't take a dump on our doorstep and expect to be invited in. We didn't add you to a community list

We pay for our server and administrate it to the best of our ability, which can be a bit much at times. We reward team players with VIP on a daily basis just for making great plays. We give out more VIP then bans. When it comes to your buddies who were banned, I spent hours looking through kill logs to make sure we made the right call, and I'm certain we did. Catching ESP hacks is objective and mistakes can be made and bans can be appealed, but I'm certain our call was correct.

I wish you GGz and better luck on other servers. Remember, you're playing on somebody's server, you're not entitled to say whatever you want without consequences.

They aren't my buddies lol

and unless I break a rule within the server while playing you have no right to ban me. I play the game for the game and I am a great team player. Unban me and find out, because all this does is just make the server look worse due to multiple complaints calling it out.

You can do better and clear the air and show people these claims aren't true but instead you are hiding behind just banning and silencing people.

So you were defending a known cheater that you don't know, flaming a server you 'hardly ever play on" and expect what exactly here? The admin to place trust in someone that flames their server without being part of the initial issue?

Server owners aren't allowed to just ban willy nilly due to someones personal distaste at how a server is run on a forum post..

Bans should and are only applied to people who break server rules WITHIN the server itself.

They've gone too far this time.

See this is where you are wrong. Server admins can ban you for any reason from cheating, being toxic (in or out of the server), and simply not liking you as a person.

Again, what do you want here with this post?

Stuff like this doesn't fly with Squad and Post Scriptum. A server can get delisted for such behavior. A player playing on the server is bound by their rules. A server owner simply can't and wont ban a player for outside behavior.

Players pay to play the game. Not to be banned and abused by server owners for their personal thoughts.

The reason I made those comments in a post that is now deleted is due to the behavior of the admins and owners in the server in my short times I played. Many people get banned and kicked simply for having "words" to say about how things are run there. But that was within the server and was turning toxic so those bans were warranted.

Mine? Wasn't.

If they simply unban me and somehow see me on their server being toxic and or addressing parts of their staff in a negative manner they are free to punish me for it. But not here.

That's like seeing a post on facebook randomly talking about how crappy a guy is in their server and they find my steam link and ban me. It's also like other servers looking at my posts anywhere on the web and choosing to ban me out of fear I will grow toxic in their server.

You have some really weird disconnect understanding what a community server is.

Again, this isn't Squad. This isn't a "licensed" server. They can quite literally ban anyone they want, for any reason they want, and they don't owe anybody any explanation at all.

This is why Team17 needs to change this.. The majority of the game is community servers. Which most are under a community wide ban list program.

Everyone needs moderation. Even community server owners. and yes even devs or publishers are moderated. Why not these servers?

There are Servers in other countries that BAN entire Country Flags from joining.

I suggest you buy your own server ($80+/month), start a VPS(RCON) configure it via linux command line, register a domain(website), start a community of admins to help you and get your server popular as you administrate it 24/7. When/If you do get it set up, you are more than welcome to ban our entire clan, as is your right. We're currently #10 US server and we get a lot more happy players that enjoy our server than dislike.

This isn't Squad, this isn't Post Scriptum. If you don't want to play on community servers because you don't like being moderated by community members who run those servers, then play on the official ones. You'll probably be alone though because everyone would rather play on the servers that you seem to think are "abusing" their power.

If you're that worried about showing how much a server costs to keep running I can give you a simple tip.

Start a separate youtube channel linked to your server community and record and edit in clips of cheaters, rule breakers and what not into a series. Can look at similar types of these with Rust and DayZ admins or owners posting their cheater hunts or rule breakers. Use that to support some funds for your server in some way.

I do also want to mention. Why would anyone want to do a ban appeal request when all it's gonna do is get denied depending on what the ban was for and the personal attachment with the case.

Hardly believe if I go into a ban appeal for forum comments made about administration will go very well within your circle. I treat people I play along side with respect and I teach new players in 3 milsims.. Squad, Post Scriptum and HLL. If you want to ban me for a personal beef without seeing me play then there is something wrong with you.

I'm allowed to have my personal comments and reservations about individuals in your server. Banning me for this is petty.

Thems the breaks, kid. This isn't Squad or Post Scriptum and these servers are privately owned. You're more than welcome to appeal your ban, I'll even help you out: "I'm sorry I was browsing the forums when I saw a post about an issue on your server that I wasn't there for regarding people I don't know and decided to pile on the flaming that was going on."

Pointless in doing anything, HE/They have made it clear how they operate and feel towards their players. If you don't praise and claim the server is the best then best bet is seeing yourself on the ban list due to admins browsing steam forums looking for people talking about their server.

This just proves they'll keep doing this. Someone else speaks ill of their server and anyone in the comment section agrees with the OP then they too are banned simply for a petty reason. Later down the line just sets up a bad reflection for the Lucky Strike community.
