Garrisons & Whiskey Servers

Don’t join this server. They enable map sharing and do nothing about it. I’ve played the game for many hours and know this is what was happening and they banned me along with other guys commenting about it.

The situation -

Map was Carentan and they immediately b-lined for all of our Garrisons placed. I setup an outpost as bait way out of the way where no one would be or have a need to go to and it was immediately taken out once they could get to it.

I tested again behind lines by their artillery just sitting there in a cornfield without them knowing I was there and a truck came and b-lined straight towards me and killed me. The two culprits were Onezike & Bobbyhell. I set another outpost where no one would check and the same thing happened. I asked for admins in the chat and they said there was no evidence of cheating when it was clear as day and they banned me and couple other guys who were trying to mitigate the action that literally ruins games.

I post this because I care about the state of the game and how that poses an unfair advantage especially when a player base is minimal and trying to grow. Had they said “yes this happening and we allow it, I’d be fine and move on to another server but to see how clear the evidence was and how multiple of us were griping about it is ridiculous.

Their artillery honed in on every garrison imaginable - which CAN happen, but it was obvious when artillery kept chain camping every garrison that was set up.

There’s skilled players out there, but when you know exactly where everyone is and where spawns are it makes for some pretty easy and farming like gameplay.

Avoid Garrison & Whiskey servers if you’d like to enjoy the game in a fair state seeing as how the admins turn a blind eye and enable this BS.

I can also say that this is true from experience, the whole command chat was complaining that the enemy knew where everything was.

I am the owner of the Garrisons and Whiskey server and I appreciate your playing on our server for over a year. Through my interactions with you in game I do believe your intentions in trying to improve the community, but do disagree with the way that you went about it today. In regards to the claims that two individuals were sharing maps on different sides, that is something that I agree is unethical and disruptive to a competitive gaming environment. It is also something that is nearly impossible to confirm with the tools currently available to the server administrators by the game developers. One of the best ways is to see if one player, in this case Onezike, is killing you at a higher rate than others. When we checked the logs we see that he killed you twice out of your eight lives, which is equal to another player. Onezike was also a commander, allowing him access to the recon plane ability. The other player in question, BobbyHell, who was on the same side of Onezike and playing artillery. From this perspective there was not a valid information sharing concern as they were on the same team.

What is able to be identified by server logs is the repeated use of obscenities and disrupting the game for 49 minutes. When one of our admins tried to use in-game voice to chat with you in order to deescalate the situation, there was no reply. With the prolonged time and continued amount of vitriol you were sharing with your team the admin made a decision to remove you from the server.

I can understand the frustration of being removed from a game, especially after being in this community for so long. Time is the most valuable thing we have and we do our best to try to respect everybody's time. It is never a good moment when an admin has to interpret a players behavior as we do not have the advantage of non-verbal communication cues. This might have been a bad day and the perception of stream sniping was compounded by something outside of the game. Our admins are not perfect, but instead fellow gamers looking to provide a relaxed and enjoyable environment for all 100 members in the server.

I was adamant along with others during the game. I was in command chat and squad chat during this time. I even cued up a few times on proximity so I’m not sure how we missed each other but someone was certainly screen sharing. I laid out the examples above and apparently those were missed but it was happening all match. The cornfield with the truck was the most obvious among them b-lining garrisons our team set and the continued chain arty fire upon them.

The craziest thing was I baited them twice with an outpost and they ran right after them in areas no one would look. There’s no discussion. You guys banned 2-5 people from that server that were trying to mitigate the actions. I caught up with the other guy you banned that was calling out the actions and we talked about it on another server.

Referring to OneZike, he never placed a recon plane over my area to run me over in a cornfield so there’s is ZERO CHANCE him knowing where I was. I didn’t even kill anyone so they wouldn’t know I was there and he drove said truck in the cornfield right at me.

Hopefully going forward you guys look at that because it was blatant and hard to miss.

The kill logs show that a different player ran over you with a transport truck at 14:36:34 today. This was 20 minutes after your last interaction with Onezike.

Bobbyhell? Because he was also suspect if that’s who it was. The image wouldn’t load. It was multiple effort and they definitely had a guy or two on our team map sharing.

Whoever it was - they still knew exactly where I was at in a cornfield as the truck came around the hedgerow and right at me. It’s a no brainer.

If the assessment is honest and accurate, this is pure poison. My move would be to list them for reference and enter them at your own risk.

I can say that this is accurate based off games (probably) unrelated to Sanders story.

I love these kinds of threads. Especially when an admin gets involved in the thread, because it shows me these servers have active moderation and I'm more inclined to check them out.

when you take your beef to the forums and the owner responds with data, and concern, yea its advertising. This is not to say that there arent people say on the opposite team with a discord channel sharing screens, intel etc, but thats not something any server can really control.

I think Inchon responded with goodwill. My associates have been subjected to ghosting a time or two in SQUAD. It is a possibility. I guess my response to evidence of that would be to bail out and choose another server, but not necessarily condemn the server. This crap can be complex and require careful thought.

When I’m addressing during an active match and assess who is probable of doing so it’s really easy to see and tell. Someone doesn’t just b line at you in a corn field in a truck as I’m laying down and directly come at me and run me over. Everything was brushed to the side. It was clear as day to see and it tilted the match immediately the whole way through. When multiple people are calling it out - it was that obvious.
