So it doesn't help if you find a really good hiding spot if someone saw you get there (and many people will wait for you to come to a stop before they start shooting) there's a pretty good chance you are toast.
On those occasions where I do manage to get a good hiding spot without anyone seeing me get there I see plenty of people miss my presence completely. But then again the moment you move (even just crawl) or shoot you're easy to spot and it's time to relocate.
I like it looking nice so leave grass on, but I still forget at times.. ducking for cover or thinking i'm out of line of sight.. RIP
If and when I choose to go prone and hide I stay very still, only move with very deliberate motions of the mouse and when I choose to shoot I try to have multiple targets ready because firing on one alerts the others.
There is a setting to turn grass off? That would be useful but does seem a little unfair.
Solid advice thank you. But yeah that sucks a whole bunch in terms of actual gameplay.
It helps quite a lot to get the long shots. That's probably what they're doing.
Personally, it took me about 3 games to get used to aiming properly.
You may have to adjust your ADS sensitivity settings if you're still not used to it.
