This would be complement of arcady crap Scam 17 started in 2020, lies and deceiving all their own Kickstarter backers:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackmatter/hell-let-loose
"...This is a simulation of war... not an arcade arena shooter. ...
Can you read? I just wrote this game is becoming more and more arcade since December 2020.
They baited Kickstarter backers on fake promises to finally turn it into arcade pile of crap with "minimum effort, maximum profit" updates.
Therefore I proposed suitable arcady changes.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackmatter/hell-let-loose
"...This is a simulation of war... not an arcade arena shooter. ..."
Aside from that it might give players too much of an out of body advantage.
Many times when i'm moving up or flanking i don't know what's around every corner and have to be careful and tactical about it.
With a system like in Brothers in Arms you pretty much take that element of surprise away and as a result will get a lot more pre-firing and rushing behaviour in matches.
If you want a more realism focused game/sim try Arma with mods or Post Scriptum.
Some mechanics have to exist or be "arcady" for the game to be enjoyable and for the general flow of it to work properly.
Stuff like suggested here or outposts and pinging are things that can or will make it a much better and more fun videogame.
Hey what are you babbling about? :D
Can you read? This is what the wrote on thier kickstarter page:
"...This is a simulation of war... not an arcade arena shooter. ..."
They scammed multiple kickstarter backers and then turned game into arcady kiddo easy console port.
Videogame for Cod/Battlefield babies. Reality is that this game was always made with "minimum effort, maximum profit" mentality therfore basic bugs and shooting features are still broken since 2020.
Just another arcady crap baiting people by paid YouTubers...
Hell Let Loose is not an arcade shooter like cod or battlefield, if you fail to distinguish such distinct genres you have an issue you need to take care of yourzelf, not expect some devs to cater to your nitpicking.
Yes they streamlined some stuff in order to port to consoles but they didn't turn it into an arcade mess.
I don't see any bunnyhopping, killstreaks, 360 trickshots or hitmarkers.
Again, some gameplay elements have to be unrealistic to make it a good game.
You seem to be expecting a hardcore milsim experience in a tactical shooter only based on a vague quote stating this is not an arcade shooter.
I will repeat this 1000 times if necessary for you to comprehend.
Based on false advertisement they baited backer saying this will be realistic WW2 shooter.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackmatter/hell-let-loose
Ones again: "...This is a simulation of war... not an arcade arena shooter. ..."
Then they turned it into arcady simplified mess for Cod/Battlefield kids.
You cannot read and the prove of that is because you twist my words. I said and still claim this is game for Cod/Battlefield kid crowd, not that game itself is similar to Cod/Battlefied.. Poor understanding
It's simlified to absolute maximum so kids can play it and it was done against original backers will which directly suggest scam.
They also promised asymmetric gameplay and then decided to give every kid semi-automatic or automatic rifle.
Hell Let Sale is not a good game. Even broken Squat have more players. Even when they combined with consoles and brought Cod/Battlefield kid crowd to the game.
All i see is kid this kid that, kickstarter is a scam etc etc.
Back it up for once?
You can't tell me you aren't directly comparing it to Cod/Battlefield while you claim it is for the same audience in the same sentence lol.
It's like arguing with someone who is thoroughly convinced water isn't wet.
Instead of being claqueur/shill/paid troll for Scam17 and Hell Let Sale :D stop repeating same things all the time and answer to the kickstarter promises compared to the game :D.
I don't need to prove you anything, who are you?
Let's remind kickstarter promises:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackmatter/hell-let-loose
"...This is a simulation of war... not an arcade arena shooter. ..."
"...On paper, Hell Let Loose is a realistic multiplayer World War Two combined arms first person shooter..."
"...Featuring sweeping 4km² maps, the entire battlefield is divided up into large cap sectors - allowing for emergent and constantly unique gameplay that pits two forces of fifty players in a fight to the death across fields..."
...As a team of realism and World War Two fans, we’ve always found there to be a profound lack of innovation in the first person shooter genre. Each World War Two game is either a run-and-gun blockbuster that places self-progression first and teamwork last, or it’s a remake of a classic title. ..."
...incorporating vehicles, open world battlefields, deployable fortifications, teamwork and realism all wrapped up in the beautiful graphics of a modern engine..."
Now when we compare those promises to what's in the game it looks like a joke.
Simplified shooting like for a baby so you can put the thumb into garand peep sight.
Giving every class semi-automatic, automatic weapons instead of promised asymmetrical balance.
Very poor tank gameplay, never actually fixed...
When me and other were telling them gunfight need many different variables like weapon sweay, they added more kick to weapons, cause it was easy.
I don't even need to mention Hell Let Sale is a cheat-fest which directly suggests devs allow for it.
There is no point in having this in HLL as you suggested it wont show enemies and there is no in-game system for contextual orders for individual fireteams.
On top of that HLL maps are quite open.
The only game that had a system closest to BiA is a Red Orchestra 2 as you had a Squad Leader role attached to a pre existing squad in which there were several fireteams and it was set up to how level designer desires.
The game also had a much more detailed map as opposed to being drawn in HLL.
