Any way to solve the stuttering?
I have a "decent" rig (3080, Ryzen 3700X...) but the game keeps stuttering (small hick ups but it's annoying) no matter what I try - different graphic settings, RTSS for even frametimes, dx12, disabling steam overlay etc.) Is it just bad optimization? I mean it seems to be a great game but I can't play it that way.

Not really. Game is badly optimized, your rig is 10000 times more than enough for this game.

Try "-USEALLAVAILABLECORES" launch option but i doubt it will help.

I too have a rtx 3080.

Someone suggested I add -dx12 -notexturestreaming to the game command line and that helped my performance a lot.

Not as smooth as I'd like it to be but it's definitely playable now for me anyway.

This game has stuttered for me to varrying degrees since 2019 and on two entirely different rigs. The stutter always seems worse after an update and then the more I play the less it seems to stutter over time. Makes me think it’s just the common UE4 stutter that plagues a lot of Unreal games. Some people claim they have never had stutter in the slightest. I claim that those people just aren’t prone to noticing it as much as others.

5900X and 3080 for myself, I launch with -dx12 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES and I have had zero issues since then (even when I had a 2080 and 3700 that command did wonders)

Step 1: Scream at the devs in the forums
Step 2: Uninstall the game
Step 3: Install Post Scriptum

Yea this game got broken somehow, I remember ages ago they fixed the stuttering for a while. Then it came back.

I get occasional stutters with a similar rig. Not often enough to annoy me, most of the time. But sometimes it starts happening a lot more often. When that happens I restart my PC. Changing server or restarting the game has no effect on the issue for me. Windows or some background app is messing the game up, obviously. So that's where I'd look if you're getting frequent stutters - Make sure windows is fully updated and ensure that no programs are running in the background. If that fixes it then turn on your usual programs one at a time.
