This is as bad as the guy complaining about the K98 on AT class. That isn't your job.
Exactly. Was a Medic, firing a weapon wasn't our mission.
Most times it's simpler, easier, and quicker to just revive; the fully restocked munitions is often the reason I hold F to deploy.
Also, what does a medic do that another Squad Leader can't? I too provide suppression reduction; also carry smokes; but far more ammo, a better gun (in nearly all cases) grenades, and most importantly? A deployable spawn point, along with (hopefully) additional intel coming through command chat.
The way I look at it? Maybe I can't get to you as a medic, but odds are the OP is still safe, and you're at most 20 seconds away from redeploying.
Medics are a great support class which can be powerful in certain situation. But it is not a combat class, for better weapons maybe change your role.
Medics shine in defense, especially situations where you lose a vital garrison and guys are hold up in a building.
