Add Female Soldiers to Soviet Union
Over 800.000 women served in the Red Army during WWII. They mainly served as Snipers, Recons, Medics and gun crews for Artillery and MGs. Also in smaller numbers in the regular infantry and Airforces. They even had their own uniforms. All in all i think it would be a great addition for future updates.

Because it would be a neat and historically accurate addition.

I suggest you should try to understand what you are reading. On the 800 000 female soldiers, very very few actually saw action. The vast majority were reserved combat role, assigned on cities AA and artillery defences. In the air force they were assigned to the equipment maintenance, trial flights or transferring planes to other airfields. The myth of the female sniper is overstated, only 2484 had this role during the whole war.

We had enough WW2 games this last decade that fantasised what WW2 was for politicals reasons,no need for this one to follow that doomed trail.

Like someone said before me, you can go play CoD vanguard of BfV if you want to cosplay as a woman in WW2.

Are you certain that you have any idea what you are saying?

Actually I think this is a very bad idea in general. From a historical standpoint the Soviets were known to actually to have women and kids in there regiments. Later in the war the Germans did also. I find the Idea of shooting Women and Kids REPULSIVE. Do Not Do This...

Dude i don't know i think being able to shoot my own kind is pretty fun. Never wanted to have a lady threaten you at gunpoint ? that's your loss

anyways i still think unique models for recon units would overhaul be pretty cool, female snipers for the soviets and possibly french resistance for the us could add a way to be sure the guy you just shot was indeed the recon squad. You can identify who they are on the german side with their veil helmet, so why not do that with the other factions ?

I think we have a good game now in this regard. Just how much of benefit/gain is there by being able to shoot women and possibly kids?

2484 you say? Enough for me to add it to the game. Also in the Airforce they had atleast three regiments completely filled with woman and also one ace pilot, again this is enough for me to add them. I never mentioned politics, you did. But i can tell where your views lie so i refuse to further debate with you. You are lost dude.

We have around seven ugly bastards to choose from and again woman served in the red army and therefore it only makes sense to add them to the pool.

I'd love to shoot kids!

This topic has been brought up before and it's turned into a nightmare several times over. Yes, women did fight in the Soviet Union, no it was usually not as common or glamorous as pop culture depicts. There were a couple absolute unit females in the Red Army like Lyudmila Pavlichenko and Aleksandra Grigoryevna Samusenko whom do need to be known for that bad a%% stuff they did but they are in the vast vast vast minority. I, and most others, believe it would be best if they did add women it was only in the sniper role. I would prefer the face of the female sniper to be locked behind a high level because again it was quite rare.
I can see why some think your post was part of the pc inclusion train everyone seems to be getting on(everyone has to be special, everyone needs representation, everyone needs a holiday etc.) Over-representation is very much a thing in pop culture today and honestly, I think it is worse than no representation if that makes sense. Just look at BF 5 and COD Vanguard just to name a few in the video game community....
