There are ways to quickly level up SL/Machine Gunner and Engineer but if the grind is as hard as you point out I may not even bother
If alone, then you can do it the long way by spawning as supp, drop supplies, redeploy to engineer, build manpower first, place next blueprint, redeploy as support again (supplies cooldown shortened cause of manpower node), finish blueprint and wait for last supplies, repeat for last node.
Then play as assault for rest of game, all the score generated from nodes goes to assault class.
Real fast way is play offensive mode on defending side. Build nodes start of game, then usually there's a point that engineers are going to build up. Do supply runs (with supply truck) for them as assault ALL GAME, and hope enemy team doesn't get locked at first point lol. Literally got like 9k support score as assault cause I did that for like 50 mins straight, most of time I was just playing on phone or discord overlay
Or sit on arty and hope you hit ♥♥♥♥ lol
Build stuff with the Hammer on your Assault class (usually this is much easier on Offensive mode as the Defender) as hammering stuff also provides XP.
Drive the truck, drop off supplies: you receive XP for both time spent in a truck, and whenever supplies are dropped off. (Again, easier as the defender in Offensive mode to just ferry crates to your defensive point)
Got a great map for Arty like Purple Heart Lane, Foy, Kursk, the star forts (WN7 or WN4) on Utah beach? some where you can rack up a ton of kills? That'll work too!
You'll receive some XP for building (iirc it's like 90 logistical score per node) those nodes; but it's once you switch back to your Assault class and the time accumulated that you'll rack up the XP.
Remember winning helps too, since it's a 50% bonus, compared to the 25% for finishing a round. That right there can be the difference between 12-14K in XP, or 25-30K (or more) if you are on the winning team.
