But, with the last update, russian map are challenger for the title of Worst map.
It's a game. You don't have 500 men on the battlefield. The map need to be fun for be played at 50 vs 50.
PHL, Foy, SMDM, Stalingrad, Kursk, Utah, Omaha, all those map are broken. For the main reason than there is not enough player playing it to made them interesting. And summarize a day of fight (or a week of fight) in 1H30 is a wrong idea in the first place. And nobody want to see 500 people taking "Ruins" in Carentan.
In a game, nobody want to stay sit in a foxhole for 10 hours, waiting for something to happen. Only historical fanboy. But those guys can't manage to understand what a good gameplay is.
Easy company, it's already around 150 men sitting at jack's wood.
and the two smaller bridges usualy get camped by snipers that are far away enough to not even see the cover you are hiding behind, supported by MGs that supress you hard enought that you got zero chance of countering the snipers.
but the worst part is that these rivers are not in the center of the map which means only one team has to cross them to get to the mst important objective in the center.
in every other map teams try to rush the center point, but in this map there will always be that tank that just rushes the bridge to camp it making it nearly impossible for one team to even get to the main point in the beginning of the match.
i still ask myself why we can´t swim across, and don´t start with the "you can´t swim in full gear" because that is actually what modern soldiers learn, at least in my country...
Now, Hill 400 and Purple Heart Lane can go and burn as far as I'm concerned.
Bro they don't teach you how to swim in the US Army, at least when i went through basic at Fort Jackson. Certain MOS'S do train their Trainees how to, Rangers and anything SF related does.
