Im good with this idea, but not an instant kill cam feed. Thats stupid and meant for battlefield
Here's an old link from a game I player on the WTH servers https://pasteboard.co/ON2RCUvQqKUw.png - sadly it also underlines the problem with administered servers.
There needs to be better methods to report and ban cheats, and those methods shouldn't be dependent on server administrators.
it is almost Battielfield, people play in different classes, but for themselves.. Maybe for exp. I don't know...
Ask supply guy for ammo. Out of pity, after 30 minutes maybe someone drop one ammo crate in useless place :) Nobody listen sl commands & commander is angry, because most of sl doesn't execute commands. Like big/long TDM in Battlefield.
After many, many months and sending many Demos to Tripwire, the Guy (and a few more) was/were suspended. I don`t know if HLL does have Demo-Mode but as long as it uses the Unreal Engine I think this is onboard. For those who don`t know what "Demo Mode" is:
It`s a record Player for the Game. I used it server sided as Admin, but as long as I can remember even Players were able to record the Game by opening the console and starting the demo mode. The games writes an file and this file can be loaded with the console into the game. Within Demo Mode you can watch every player from all perspectives even freeroam. I think this was one of the most helpful tools we had in use.
dollars to doughnuts it some a-hole feeding intel to the other team... either by being on the opposite team of a friend, or simply watching idiot streamers... but yes, this game is being ruined by people who want to cheat the system in some man-child attempt to validate their ability to play a game... which is obviously a catch-22, because if you have to cheat to win, then you must suck to being with.
So did you observer this player flying, being bullet-proof or otherwise blatantly hacking?
Cause its hella easy to get ♥♥♥♥ ton of kills on arty, and you don't need to be any particular level to load or fire it.
You're 100% right - at lvl 2 (actually lvl 1 as he promoted during the game) they're 100% natural and were instantly born with perfect gaming knowledge. You need to look at that highlighted box in more detail - from it you can understand how long they were in the game and get a rough idea what they were doing (like building and gaining points from respawns).
Look, I've seen your posts on a number of other topics. I don't know why you defend this ♥♥♥♥, but you make yourself look more and more foolish each time you post. It's better to remain silent and people think you a fool, than open your mouth and confirm it.
its called 'benefit of the doubt'
and the player could easily achieve that score helping build 2 notes, destroy OPs, and getting kills by proxy via reloading on arty. You literally don't need to know anything about the game to keep pressing "r" all match and occasionally move the gun left or right. They totally couldn't be starting out the game with a higher level friend who's the arty spotter/shooter, they MUST be hacking.
do you actually play this game, or simply shout "HACKER!" every time someone gets stuck on a fence?
By all means keep trying to insult my intelligence while constantly conveying your lack thereof... i find it endlessly entertaining.
back to the topic at hand, I HAVE seen cheaters, i've seen map/streaming exploiters, and without a doubt, streamers/spys are a much bigger problem than actual code-manipulating hackers.
I used the server-replay system in War Thunder hundreds of times and found that 95% of the time, it was just my mis-interpretation of the situation that got me killed, not somebody cheating.
Not to mention the fact that this replay system was beneficial in learning how the enemy movements lead to a defeat.
That's your best retort to my fair and plain argument? Wow.
Well, I suppose it was too much to hope you'd at least attempt to defend your argument with any kind of intelligent retort.
It was my mistake for assuming you had the necessary armament for a battle of wits.
Done feeding the trolls, back to the topic @ hand;
Its likely a very difficult issue to fix, on the one hand you can only do so much coding to prevent players from sharing information... it really comes down to the players themselves not being scummy, and sadly, more folks want the quick, easy gratification of any win, instead of a win they actually earned through fair game play.
I love this idea simply because I'd love to learn from my mistakes and see how a battle goes. This would also open up a whole new avenue for the community as a whole, entire matches replayed with commentary on youtube to chill out and watch.
I'd also love to be able to go back and confirm or deny some of the suspect things I've seen. I was just playing on Foy today, and I swear I saw a dude teleport into a broken down building with a Bazooka, take a shot at the Tank next to me and disappear suddenly. I dunno if it was a wonky lag issue or he DC'd, but I immediately rushed the building cause it was right next to me (10m) and he was gone. No body, no gore anywhere. Just gone. It probably was a DC, but it'd be great to confirm things like that.
