Wrong Loadout Bug - Post Your Observations On The Cause/Symptoms

The devs have stated in the past that this is a very difficult bug to fix because they haven't been able to find the exact cause. Let's get some information compiled in this thread on any patterns you all have noticed and maybe we can help get this issue resolved.

Just in case you're not aware what this bug is: despite having unlocked/selected a different load out for, say, your Anti-Tank kit, you spawn with the default kit. This only happens during a match and never at the beginning.

No idea as to the cause, but it acts as if the server thinks you're a level-1 player in terms of kit unlocks because even switching to a different class will give you the default kit instead of the rank-unlocked version you choose.

In my own experience, it seems like it happens when you spawn at "Garrison A", then that garrison is destroyed by an explosion (or possibly just taken down/auto-deleted on zone flip). Upon the next deploy, that is when the kit bug appears for me.

The last 5 times this has happened to me, the common pattern was always that the garrison from which I previously deployed was no longer available.

I think that I can resolve it by selecting the offending loadout, spawning with it, then selecting my desired loadout on spawn. I'm still unable to reliably reproduce the issue.

I only had this happen to be once on the old Hurtgen Map. I was a German squad leader in my para gear and after I died I looked like a new spawn with an MP40. I could not change back mid game

I've only had it happen once as well, as a Crewman. It kept spawning me with the default crewman with no blowtorch, even though I had the blowtorch loadout selected.

Strangely, I couldn't wear my Peadot Crewman uniform either, it was spawning me with the default Tank crewman uniform.

Also, it happened to the entire Tank crew. The Squad Leader was having the same issue as well at the same time as I was. We both couldn't spawn with the blowtorch loadout.

Part of the issue is you only notice it upon your respawn; what I did prior to that I often don't remember in its exact detail.

Typically in the death screen I'm relaying information about my death via the appropriate comms channel, so I don't think: Remember what order you clicked on things prior to coming back on OP/Garrison.

If could be due to the fact I've cycled through spawns points on the map, perhaps I went to check on another loadout in the squad (ensuring we have AT for example) other times I've gone to a role, only to decided to stick with my current role instead and spawn back in.

I get this all the time with Engineer always reverts to first load out whatever I select even changing class - since last update Very frustrating as makes XP and unlocks useless

To me, this is the single most important fix needed for the game right now. If the next update drops and this problem isn't fixed, they shouldn't even bother.
