Game crash from touching keyboard

I'm playing with my xbox controller wired into my pc. When I move my mouse or touch my keyboard the game crashes instantly. Anyone having the same problem or know how to fix this issue or know if its an issue with the controller support in the game?

i think its got partial support for the controller, but why would you want to use a controller when your on a pc. stick with the mouse and keyboard is my suggestion.

With me it still happens after weeks that the game rather sooner than later freezes when I select tools. Besides this still always delay when it shifts between mouse and gampad and I always use both at the same time - what worked well in every game I played before but here are "special genius" in action again... ;-P I am no keyboard-nerd and demand that I can play the way I want. But here it lacks even in basics like these high-ping-rates and lag for example too... :-P And a cheatlosers paradise with such little information in game.

This is a known issue when the game is trying to determine which input should take priority. I use headphones plugged into my xbox controller for voice feedback and play on m/k. When I first started playing this game I would unintentionally hit a button on the controller and the game would lock up and present an error log screen. Best bet is to turn off m/k input if they are wireless, or unplug them if they are not to avoid any touching of the keys/mouse. Really only fix.

ps. To all the PC Elitists... let people play how they want to play. So what if they are using a controller, if they are more comfortable with that then so be it. It doesn't impact you in any way.

i'm having the same problem as you... mouse and keyboard and logitech controller. i touch my mouse and it crashes instantly. i play with both. i use the mouse for the tank comander and controller for everything else. was having a good time then 1 week later started having "The Crashes." was not a problem until 1 week ago for me...?????

i was playing with a ps4 controller with no issues. Had to end up getting a ps5 controller and every since its been crashing the game. Weird that they have been working with controllers yet has this problem.

Okay Okay. Listen. You can select controller support if you wish. But if you begin using the keyboard and mouse you are going to set up a driver conflict that may make the OS puke. Make a choice and stick too it.
