This thread again.
In game it is simplified - they do not penetrate any armour.
Similar to how MG's can kill trucks, but SMGS, rifles and (as far as I can tell) grenades do not.
It is a game mechanic - get used to it or get out.
Yup, that's why up to a few weeks ago I didn't have a single uniform and barely a few helmets, despite prepurchasing this pile of stinking excrement. :)
Just for the troll?
Out of interest, why do you think hitting a tiger in the engine compartment would do more than destroy the engine?
I came back to check on the game. When I first played it, the menu had a black screen as background and still had 5 FPS. If you think that doesn't scream of the devs' incompetence, then you're dumb. I have to give it to them, the menu has a character model and stable 60 FPS now, so well done, I guess?
I've played LOTS of WW2 games and in each and every single one of them, the best thing you can do is shoot the tanks in the back. That's where they have the weakest armor and most important internals. Please enlighten me what infinite wisdom did the HLL developers possess when they decided against that? Do you know what's directly next to the engine? Fuel. Do I have to continue? (Of course I will have to, because you're a troll, so that's just a rhetorical question.)
I recently went back on the discord after 2 years off, and it's nothing but sycophants. The Devs are surrounded by casuals who belong in a BF pub lobby, gushing over how "immersive" the game is, and how they feel like they are in a real battle, as they rush like lemmings towards the general direction of the cap zone getting ground into beef over and over again, because the only aspect of War they are familiar with, is the sound and flashing lights.
I ♥♥♥♥ you not, over the course of 3 days, the most tactical conversation I've heard is someone explaining how to build a garrison. That's it, that's the whole game. Each day a new player asks how to play SL or what to do with trucks, and someone, once or twice even myself, explains it to them in simple terms, and that's it. There are no further questions, no discussion of placement, or tactics, or anything. It's just build spawns, and zerg.
Not really surprised, that is the prevailing tactic most players employ. The fact this is all new players are told when they show up only explains this trend further. Not only are these casuals apologists for the Dev's literal lies and false advertising, but they don't teach the new players anything, and are actively dumbing down the game with their apathy.
What gets my goat, is these losers have the gal to call me out for pushing my opinion too hard, while they defend the lack there of! They don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about ANYTHING, yet seem to take offense that other people do. If they really don't care about anything other than the gunplay, then go w+m1 all you want. I don't understand how they can argue anything from a position of apathy.
You don't seem to realize you're posting in a forum about a video game. Well-adjusted, successful adults don't get this worked up over video games.
You milsimmers crack me up. The game has RESPAWNING in it, give up on "muh realizm." Games have to be fun, and have to sell enough copies to pay the developers. Your perfect fantasy milsim is either 1) impossible, or 2) destined to fail because nobody wants it.
Come at me with something other than a tired strawman. If you can't be bothered, then walk away, you don't have to fight with me if you lack the energy to do it. But if you're going to argue this half ass'd, I'm not going to dumb down to your level for the sake of matching your intensity, this isn't boxing, I don't give a crap about your teenage concept of cool or agreeableness.
You frat boys are a dime a dozen, "just a game bruh" I could do this all day, because the multitude of you casuals gives me enough target practice to hone my rants down to a science. I've been arguing with carbon copies of you for half a decade, and in all that time, your arguments have not improved at all. Not you personally, just your ilk. Same platitudes and stawmen over and over, burning these strawmen with anything less than a nuke feels hollow after the nth time this week.
If you have a differing opinion, share it, but if your opinion is ♥♥♥♥, you're going to hear about it, because I've been burning the same strawmen, arguing about the same basic level 1 stuff, for nearly a decade, and I'm not going to play devils advocate for an argument I've already slaughtered 7 different times.
I'm sure their poor reception of you has nothing to do with your presentation. lol.
And I don't think this game is all that realistic, but I am new and find it fun. I don't get what you are crying about. About half the squads I play in are playing objectives and not just rushing. The other half just rush and fight over who is going sl to build spawn points. That's pub gaming in every game though.
But that's just it. The game is what it is. You getting this worked up isn't going to change that. They aren't going to redo it at this point. Luckily for you, there are tons of other games to choose from. I'm sure you'll find some you like.
But your argument doesn't make sense. We are the ones who are playing the game because we like it. You are the one that wants something other than what this game is. You can go play Squad if you don't like this game. You can go play one of the many other more "realistic" games out there if you don't like this one. I haven't played cod or battlefield in a decade and I still like this game. This is a cheap game that provides some entertainment.
