Quick question,

When I shoot the K98 I feel I miss a lot of shots. I am leading, trying to adjust for distance ect… the one thing I have not tried is pulling down for recoil compensation. Has anyone had any luck with this!! Any tips would be appreciated lol!

I do wanna say the zero is a bit off on the Kar98k at least at closer distance (25-50 yards). Honestly your best bet is to just keep using the weapon and learn how to use it. It took me forever to learn how to lead shots and what not, but now I usually have no issues or well less issues lol. When I first started playing the game I was not a huge fan of the Kar98k but since have grown really attached to it (it is one of my favorites IRL).It is a bolt action rifle so you really cant pull down for recoil compensation, that is more of a thing for fast follow up shots in a semi auto or a automatic.

Thanks. Yeah it just feels off compared to other games, so taking some adjusting. I most the others, just can’t grasp the K98, which I love in real life myself.

I think the KAR 98 has a higher velocity than the M1.

The kar98 has the least drop and fastest bullet travel out of all the rifles. You will have to practice and get familiar with each. They all have their own fictional performance quirks.
