Tank weak spots?
Hello, I have read a little online but there is conflicting info based on the different updates. I know that hitting a rocket up a tanks ass is the most sure way to kill it but that is not always an option. Hitting tracks seems to do no damage as does hitting the turret. Is there a sweet spot on the sides or front that I can hit? are Rockets and AP rounds both as effective in these spots?

Depends on what kind of Tank it is.

HItting the tracks on any Tank isn't going to destroy it. You'll only disable it. So unless you miss with a shot and hit the tracks instead, you might as well spend your second shot on the tracks as well, to disable it, in hopes the crew will get out and try to repair and you can gun them down. Or give you time to get more rockets.

With all armour, 90 deg is the best angle of attack. Also, try to be within 50m.

Recon's Tank's are almost always a one shot anywhere, except the tires, it will take two shots to kill them if you hit the tires (I could be wrong here, but I always seem to take tread damage and live when hit in the tires).

Light Tank's should be a one to two shots depending on the angle of attack. Focus on the sides and rear, avoid hitting the tracks.

Medium Tank's, the Panzer IV, T34 and Sherman, focus on the side armor and rear. Avoid the turret and tracks. It should be two shots to the side and rear to destroy any medium tank. I believe you can do some damage to the turret, but it takes more then two shots. Also, avoid hitting the Gun mantlets.

As AT, you really have no choice but to flank Heavy Tanks and hit it in the rear. Heavy Tank's like the Tiger are impossible to kill from the front. You can only disable the tracks from the front. They will take a beating if you are going for the side armor. You really have to focus on angle of attack here and get that 90 deg angle on the rear to take out the heavy tanks in this game. 3 perfect shots to the rear is needed to take out any heavy. So you better have support with you, or team up with another AT guy.

The AT rifle is trash right now. Takes forever to kill anything with that thing, I'd avoid it.

One final thing, the AT guns are super OP right now. If you can build at AT gun in a good position, it's 2 shots to kill any heavy Tank from the front with the AT gun.
