Throw back grenades.
I think it would be very cool to be able to do that.

If you were sent to war, surely the first thought you'd have when a hand-held explosive is lobbed at you would be to pick it up, eh?

depends on a lot of factors. Its all a judgement call, which would make for interesting game play i think. it would make cooking grenades more relevant too.

WOAH THERE, STEADY NOW

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Don't overload the dev team with fancy stuff, they still need to start with the basics and create the ability to actually throw the grenades first let alone someone else throw them back.

German grenade bug - 2 years and counting, still not fixed.

It is the most annoying bug in the game and they never mention it.

You've been able to throw grenades since the beta and what bug are you talking about? This feature I'm asking for is pretty basic.

I hate to be that guy but not really because I'm excited to see the British Forces update. I'll always welcome a new map too so we'll see what this new Bridge map is all about when that come out.

German grenade bug has been around for ages, search in forums.

Stick grenade animation doesnt complete and then you cant throw anything, have to switch weapons, fire and then go back to try grenade again.

This feature I am talking about SHOULD be pretty basic

Not being funny and I do get where you are coming from with this, however trust me the first thing you do when you see a nade landing is hit the deck as they taught you, feet towards it fingers in ears, mouth open and body raised off the ground with your arms tucked straight underneath it. The very last thing you think of is "pick this up and throw it back" (especially if you did not receive training in the device and if you did when you realise the fuse could be set anywhere from zero to 15 or 20 seconds or so). The second last thing you would do (not think about) is to jump on it to save your mates.

it is a comic book /movie thing.

all , and i mean all my military and ex-military friends have debunked that idea. its a rare occurence, and not enough to add in a game. just like prone roll/lean in a world war 2 shooter.

And throwing a grenade back isn't a comic book/movie thing?
Strontium Dog Feb 28, 2022 @ 11:35am
it would be a cool addition to the game, as would fixable bayonets and select fire on weapons, non of that is gonna happen though.
FD_Stalker Feb 28, 2022 @ 12:46pm
You have a bug causing grenade to stick on your hand and you want to pickup enemy grenade?

that's caused by lag spikes, completely different developers will have to fix that.

No it's not - it's all situational. If a grenade lands at my feet or even within reaching distance and there's no wall to jump over, I'm grabbing it and tossing it.

As for that 50 step process to go prone, plug ears, open mouth blah blah blah is all nonsense. I've never heard one person say anything like that in the field, on deployments or during any of the hundreds of medical briefs I've been at and I'm a current serving Army medic going on 9 years.

You just hug the dirt and hope for the best.
