Obviously. I meant don’t hold down the fire button. He said he has trouble hitting targets at range and I’m assuming because he is spraying.
Bar is fine, sometimes in hurry fight the button still too long, and I got 3 shots.
FG42 always 2 shots since it has high ROF.
Semi-auto in far distance also does not make sense for these rifles. These are actually LMG, should set up and spray in long range. Now it is more like a close combat rifles or long range SMG considering semi rifles maybe not suitable.
I find that it's easier to single shot with the BAR because of it's low ROF, but otherwise both weapons are capable of taking out targets with 1-2 shots at short to medium range.
That sounds like a netcode issue. I've had that happen on a lot of different guns in this game, depending on what server I'm playing on.
At least a prone fix works for all the currently available guns, as opposed to giving me 2 more guns to struggle to with their deployment.
In theory (and because of how suppression works in this game) I rather enjoy the machine guns for their utility at helping my team advance; but the issue has cropped up enough that I'm now more hesitant to deploy as MG than I suspect I would be, provided it were solved.
In deed, the single shot often goes to nothing, I really doubt there is a bullet or not.
Sometimes when lag is high, the animation of firing happened, but the system count as no shot, and if you hold firing longer, you get 2 inaccurate shots.
Anyway, to make them proper LMG, we need bipods for accurate consecutive long range shots.
The idea would be good.

I guess the dev will add it once they figured how to help Soviet. They currently have so few weapons.
