GAME IS AWFUL

Game needs some SERIOUS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work, there is no in game guide/training, just deep end to be thrown into, the game does not differntiate between foreground/background/surroundings and enemy , I played for 2 hours and died over 40x NEVER KNOWING WHAT KILLED ME OR HOW, - Spawn locations are absolutly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for 1st 18 min of 1st game id spawn and die, spawn and die, spawn and die, w/out moving a foot, I do not reccemnd this game until its readly to full release because there are going to be so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ patches itll make you uninstall for a year till its entrily flushed out....I am going to TOTALLY destroy this games REP because as an average gamer,,.. not a good gamer, not PROF. I am the typical pick it up and play kind of guy,... this game is not for ANYONE looking to just relax...its completly infuriating and gives no guid lines/ explanations on your goal , where to how, what your doing , who your doing it w/ , what gear does or how it works...so far...GARBAGE - ignore my bad spelling/grammar. im more irritated right now to give a damn

Its indeed best to join a clan and watch the tuts first I think. Clan members are really cool and most clans help out anyone and tell you what you can do in no time. Check out the HLL Discord for the clan servers that you can join :).

no point in sticking w/ squad who will not help you in the game when you have no idea what to do , where to go, and yell at you when you dont do EXACTLY what they want and when...if this game is sqaud dependent , then no one will get anywhere in this game because it comes down to spending time and learning it yourself, not receiving help from the "sqaud" , in game I was told it would take 20 hours of in game play to even get an idea of what to do or how...now thats 20 hours of game play, not the extra 20 hours of waiting for screen loads/ map loads, respawns , deaths, and whatever else may come, no sir, I'd rather play a game I can jump into and learn to play in 2 hours and spend another 18 getting good, not learning to play. - the game is a waste of time and until they can clean ALL of the issues which im sure MORE AND MORE people will repeat... I'll bash this game at every given chance, and doesnt it say ALOT about the game itself that I would have to go to YOUTUBE to learn to play...rather then IN THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME ITSELF...thats just Assanign

Hi I understand you are confused on what to do ingame, In the menu, there is a tab called FIELD MANUAL, that will give you all the info on everything ingame, there are tutorials online, and I have had no issue with squad mates, just ask and more often than not, they will help you, Can always send me a friend request, and I can try help out where I can :)

I know it sounds harsh @OP but this game just doesn't hold your hands, which is absolutely fine. And you def need some IQ to be efficent in HLL which is also fine. I agree that it could have a better tutorial for completely new players to the tac fps genre which will come in the future. But there's plenty of guides if you look for them. And it's an ea title so nothing is really complete yet. But seems like HLL is simply not your kind of a game. No one to blame for that but yourself tbh.

Googling, checking Youtube before you start playing some more complex than CoD does NOT hurt.

Your initial hours are going to be a slaughter, especially if you coming from some mainstream multiplayer shooters. You will have a lot of things to unlearn and learn again. You can start by sticking to your squad leader, using VOIP, slowing down, sticking to hard cover or at least concealment (hedgerows) and never crossing an open field.

Dunno what your problem is, I didn't get any guidance, I just joined a squad, took the Rifleman and sticked to the Squads orders.
Game relies a lot on voicechat so you gotta talk a lot.
You will ping a lot, shot a lot, miss even more and die to no end.
Sometimes you run trough the thicc of a battle and nothing will hit you and something you walk to the frontline and get shot in the middle of nowhere.

But honestly it is easy to understand what your objective is.
A round takes a maximum of 90minutes, you win either if you cap all enemy bases or if you hold more bases till the time runs out.
The bases are the black circles on the map, with the bar over it.
You can also give you a bit more HUD over the options menu, makes it a bit easier to handle the whole thing.
