Satchel Placement on Tanks

When placing a satchel on a tank is there an optimal position to put it or is damage equal on all parts?

I know the back is the weak spot for rockets. Does the same weak spot apply for satchels as well?

I know this is probably a dumb question, but I had to ask.

no, its the same as long as you place on the tank.

No you can run up and stick it on the back and it still won't 1 shot the tank for whatever reason.

Doesn't with jumbo either. Whatever thr case, it's really really dumb it doesn't.

Update 9 nerfed Satchel damage on tanks, u can't kill any Tank with a Satchel anymore (except Light Tanks and Recon Vehicles)

I bet you there is no other game, where if you place a satchel, by having to stand there and have a timer go down before the explosive actually is placed, that it doesn't actually kill said vehicle when it explodes, regardless of what vehicle you're blowing up. Especially if it's placed in the vehicles vulnerable spot.

I cant help but feel whoever approved that change thinks we're stupid. What's with the hard on and all these silly buffs for tanks.
