in this game: i fire 3-5 shots at enemy tank, it turns its turret and oneshots me (no matter if full front towards it, or so called diamond angle, nope..)
That should explain most of the tank related things in HLL.
It explains how many shots you need to take down tank etc.
*Mirror matchups will result in ~2 shots to kill
*Shooting a higher classed Tank requires 2-3 shots to kill
*Shooting a lower classed Tank requires 1-2 shots to kill
*Reduced Handheld-AT damage to require an additional rocket to destroy Heavy Tanks

From the Official Patch notes, basically Heavy Tanks can One-Shot Medium tanks
One-Shotting a heavy tank i believe is only possible if another heavy tank gets a rear shot or you are getting satcheled and not hearing the Fuse going or seeing the sparks from the TC's position if they didn't hide it low on your hull.
If you get an AP shot exactly where the turret meets the hull, you can one shot any tank with a medium or heavy round. This is historically accurate. Depending on what type of tank you are shooting at, this shot can be easier/harder. Here's a video from WWII skip to 4:13

Not saying it isn't unfair, but I've been in plenty of tank head to head battles where we are bouncing shots off each other and then one of us gets that "magic bullet" on the turret ring and it's over instantly.
