Dragging the wounded
Medics always die next to the wounded when they try to resurrect them, because they have no choice and have to help while under fire. If this opportunity is present in the game, it will stop the conveyor of death and give the game an atmosphere

If someone needs dragged out of an enfilade, you aren't going to go near them in the first place. You'll just get chopped up by small arms fire. If they're *not* in any particular danger... why drag them? In those weird middle areas where they're in a dangerous area, but there's maybe cover that you can use to reach them, you can just revive them and have them get down.

Maybe they get up and die instantly, maybe they duck into cover. Maybe you both eat a grenade.

Not going to be that helpful. The moment the medic gets upright the chance of being seen an hit is exponentially greater. Crawl to the victim, stay down and get him stabilized and crawl away.

One of my biggest frustrations is when I revive someone and they immediately shoot to their feet and get shot from six different directions.

Reviving is super quick so it would be pointless and expose you more to drag bodies.

It is not necessary to carry the wounded while standing, it is possible to introduce the mechanics of moving bodies in the prone position. In my opinion, it will be effective in this case.

Yes! And often the wounded are torn apart by a grenade right in front of your eyes))

More often, the wounded are under heavy fire and when a person comes to life, he has little time to be able to orient himself. In the worst case, he dies again and your actions have no value.

OP - Best Idea I have seen in months. Blow off the Shills above they sell the status quo.

I just don't expect to get revived, sometimes I'll wait and say thanks for the revive.

The waiting time in this case sometimes reaches up to more than a minute. Add here the travel time to the point of contact with the enemy. The medic is not a very popular class because of his short life. I am sure that in the setting of this game, a medic is a very important class that can influence the course of events. Of course, my proposal will not fundamentally fix the situation, but this class is clearly missing something...

I'd rather see medics be given more combat-capable loadouts. As it stands, a medic *has* to perform their role very well or they are just an inferior rifleman.

It's *never* consistent to perform their role that well. There are too many factors and only two of them at best are under the medic's control.

I completely agree, of course it's about the totality of the signs. I have already read your discussions in the topic ammunition for a medic, this is really a more important problem
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I don't get how everyone is saying it won't work. Squad ? Works very well in that game. I have used it a lot. Much of the time you're in some sort of cover and can grab the body and pull it towards you and revive.

By the way! Squad! I've heard a lot about this project, but I haven't played. Is there such a function there? Now I'll find out more about this game.
