The first aid kit will heal wounded soldiers, use the syringe on dead guys. You will see the circle filling up when its working.

if you are asking more specifically, only the Medic can use the medic pack on another team member.

as a regular soldier , you have access to medic packs, but you're not able to use them on teammates.

i think the default slot for medic pack is number key 4, then you press f to bandage.

Not quite. The Medic can revive with the Syringe. All players can heal injuries on both themselves and other players with their own medic pack.

Not quite. The Medic can revive with the Syringe. All players can heal injuries on both themselves and other players with their own medic pack.

i have to get in game and try it.

you don't even get the "need healing" icon when playing as non-medic role. and you don't get the "heal teammate" prompt either....


edit: Nope you're wrong. i just tried it. you cant bandage other players as a non-medic role.

you can heal team mates if your not a medic but you cant revive them but you also forefit one of your bandages

What? I do it all the time.

I run out of bandages all the time and ask other players to bandage me that aren't medics...try again man, something is either bugged on your end or they snuck in a nerf to bandages in the past few weeks, cause I do it all the time.

Are you trying to revive people with bandages? That doesn't work of course, you need the syringe for that, but you can definitely bandage other teammates who are wounded (not critical) outside of the medic role with your own bandages and vice versa.

Exactly. Another reason why comms is so important. My Machine Gunner was locking down an alleyway and got hit a few times - he ran out of bandages and we didn't have a medic. I ran over twice through heavy fire and patched him up when he asked. I was SL.

If there was any justice he should have got a Purple Heart and I should have got the Medal of Honor ;)

last night in voice chat, other squad guys told me it was possible. and i stand corrected.

I just didn't see how it was possible, they did say it was "finnicky" at the moment, but i tried on wounded (not downed) soldiers and no prompt or anything. i literally tried doing it multiple times, even telling guys with flesh wounds to let me bandage them, and they stood there and everything, and nothing, i had my bandage out and was hitting F, left mouse button, and nothing.

it may be bugged, or not an item anymore or only certain "other" classes besides medic can do it.

i even asked others in the server to bandage me up when i was wounded , and they couldn't do it.

in all my hours of playing I have not seen it done between other players , even once.

but i believe its something really rare that does exist for sure, but is a rare occurence . or might have been there in earlier builds and not there anymore. perhaps lol

Eh, I guess maybe it depends on your playstyle? I stick to my teammates like glue most of the time, and I constantly do this. Just a couple of games ago, I was playing Support and with the SL and our Assault guy. Our assault dude kept getting hit everytime he moved up, and me and the SL were bandaging him because he ran out of bandages.

I even laughed and said "Jesus, you just won't die, they must be getting mad." and we were making "I ain't got time to bleed" jokes cause he kept getting hit and then killing the enemy while he was bleeding.
