Download Speed
Can you please look into providing updates at faster speeds. Most of my games average 70 mb/s while yours is stuck down loading 25 mb for 5 mins. I'm not sure why. A few games are like this. I'm not sure if it is the file type or server upload speed.

I'm guessing it doesn't actually have anything to do with the file size or download speed. what happens is, steam is making instructions and moving up files that already are on your computer in preparation for the incoming update, which would make your drive, processor and/or system memory the limiting factor, not the download servers.

could be mistaken though I believe that's what's going on since I've seen this on other games aswell.

Well I don't believe the bottleneck is my system and I don't think it is file size either, 25 mb is still 25 mb. But I have the fastest speed available in my area at 1k Mbps and I have 64 GB of ram, with a i9 9900k, and all of my drives are SSDs. It is only certain games and they are always slow.

Contact Steam support if you're having issues with how quickly Steam is downloading an update to a Steam game.

Even with the fastest computer in the word patching a file will be slower than just adding a new file.

It isn't patching all games, just a few indie games like this one PUBG that are slow.

What I’m trying to say is that some patches add files, some modify files, the later would be slower. Maybe that’s what’s going on.

Maybe so.

Look at the disk usage when patching, it might give you a hint.
